dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Share Posted 4 June, 2010 So Dune how come its Ok for you to pay the £3 next season as it suits you but DD was wrong to pay the £1.50 CC charge if that suited him???? Hypocracy? Dulldays wasn't wrong to pay by credit card because presumably he was skint quite a bit, but he was a mug because he should have managed his finances better and payed with a debit card which carried no charge. If Cortese had come out with a statement like this you would be demanding his resignation! Wake up!

Ok I am going to leave this now as I think you have issues here and am getting uncomfortable with the number of posts against you. You have no idea on his finances and its his choice to pay the CC if that suited him, its the same you choosing to pay it rather than planning and calling at the window or getting a mate to do that for you - if you cannot see that you are choosing to do this and not "managing your finances better" then you are being blinded by your anti-Cortese stance. Dulldays you talk rubbish. I bet you didn't even know you could pay with a debit card and not get charged a fee and now you're just trying to dig yourself out of a hole - badly. Exactly..I have bought matchday tickets mainly additional ones on my Tesco CC that add on other purchases that I can get loads of points on then exchange those points for 4 x value....I love Prezzos £5 Tesco vouchers give me £20 to spend in their restaurant! I have a Barclays Premiership Card for my ST that is 0% on transactions over £250 spread over 12 months had it since Prem.

In case you hadn't noticed paying with credit card no longer costs more than with a debit card. So now you can pay with your credit card and genuinely benefit. GITR, I think dune was aiming a fairly cheap (albeit mildly amusing) shot at Delldays as he's been banging on incessantly (along with a number of others, it should be said) about how people should have managed their finances a bit better rather than complain that the installment plan has been scrapped at zero notice. Anyway, this thread is making things degenerate further than I'm willing to allow so, er, locked.
