SuperMikey Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 Not at this stage. If Cortese goes, so does Liebherr, that's been stated.
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 why would you boycott you p*ick. We are in the best situation for years financially and are really going. I expect your type that have caused instalements to be withdrawn as you defaulted on them. Dont tell me you want Lowe back? Get a life and get a season ticket, where there is a will there is away, there are plenty of interest free loans out there if you look hard enough. I expect we are going to have the best season we have had for many a year next year and all some people want to do is moan. Put your money where your mouth is just like King leibuhre had. Put up or shut up!!!! I'm fully prepared to pay a fair price to attend games, but the £3 ticket tax is not a fair price - it's a rip off. The majority of other clubs that have a ticket tax charge £1 - so why is our ticket tax £3. Can you justify this excessively high tax?
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 If Cortese goes, so does Liebherr, that's been stated. That's funny because I thought it was stated that Marcus would keep the club in his family. Are you suggesting that Mr Liebherr is not committed?
The Kraken Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 I'm fully prepared to pay a fair price to attend games, but the £3 ticket tax is not a fair price - it's a rip off. The majority of other clubs that have a ticket tax charge £1 - so why is our ticket tax £3. Can you justify this excessively high tax? No. It deserves complaining about. If you've got a probelm with it, either communicate it with the club or don't pay it. Those are your options. Your constant spamming and general idiocy will get you nowhere.
Legod Third Coming Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 what a ****ing dickhead! Ditto, the f u cking world is full of them. It's about time some of them grew up and grew some fu cking balls got off the internet and GOT A F U CKING LIFE!

An owner who has/is putting millions into the club is enough justification for me! End of!
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 YES! An owner who has/is putting millions into the club is enough justification for me! End of! You must be very wealthy to be so blazee' about excessive pricing.
Thedelldays Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 (edited) You must be very wealthy to be so blazee' about excessive pricing. it is all relative.. I dont think it is excessive....not to (probably) see saints gain promotion or even win the damn league how much was your day out at wembley dune..how much did it cost you for that ONE day..? djharvey Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 You must be very wealthy to be so blazee' about excessive pricing. You must be a complete tight arse and ungratefull git to make such a song and dance about it! :smt043
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 You must be a complete tight arse and ungratefull git to make such a song and dance about it! :smt043 It's the principle of the thing. I could afford to pay £1 to use the toilets on a RyanAir flight, but I won't ever fly RyanAir because I fundamentally disagree with how the business is run.

That's your choice and i have no problem with that. But i think you are starting to lose face because you just won't stop going on about it, and seem to want to bring the whole house down. We hear you! Now please move on.

I will never ever be accepting of the ticket tax because it's morally wrong. I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it.
NickG Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 how come my joke thread got locked and his didn't? My turn to sulk now!
NickG Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 I will never ever be accepting of the ticket tax because it's morally wrong. I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it. sure they will get over it...or maybe, just maybe, they did it to alienate you?

I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it. god, I wish they just raised the tickets by £3 and everyone had to pay it...and no talk of booking fee..
djharvey Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 I will never ever be accepting of the ticket tax because it's morally wrong. I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it. If you feel that strongly i think you are making a mistake that will obviously eat away at you more that it already has. Don't put yourself through this. It's breaking my heart. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY IT!

I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it. Well then you are part of the risk that Cortese took, and he undoubtedly would have expected a minority to have a problem with it, so I'm sure they won't be losing any sleep.
Give it to Ron Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 I will never ever be accepting of the ticket tax because it's morally wrong. I will have to pay it, but it's alienated me from the club and they've lost a lot of good will from it. I am sure they are quaking in their boots and shocked at losing your custom....as I explained many times now - you don't have to pay that £3 but you just carry on with your pathetic little crusade. As for Ryanair...fair play however http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/transport/article7142149.ece Michael Ryan must be wondering where the next euro is coming from. Successful businessmen are ruthless about time an intelligent man like you realised that.

NickG Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 If Cortese didn't want to be in the limelight he wouldn't have declared war on the Daily Echo and he wouldn't have slagged off Matt Le Tissier and Lawrie. The bloke's a pr11ck. think you are coming across as jealous and insecure.
Thedelldays Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 so basically dube wants cortese "the pr1ck" out of the club my word

I buy most of my tickets over the phone with a debit card because that method suits me best. I will continue to use this method (although i'll use a credit card from now so it costs the club more) however because i've paid this excessive premium I will expect fast delivery and when tickets don't arrive (as happened for two away games last season) I will expect a full refund of the ticket tax.

Naa, it's the job of the real fans to accept the decision and move on and support the team, even though they may not agree with it. It's the job of a pathetic attention seeking minority to keep on about it, trying to mount some sort of campaign against the club. HTH
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 so basically dube wants cortese "the pr1ck" out of the club my word I didn't say that you troll.

dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 mug...I thought mugs use credit cards (like I do) to buy tickets..? You were a mug to use a credit card last season as they have always carried a handling fee, but now all cards carry a handling fee. Did you not realise this?

Well then its your choice or prefence to pay it so stop going on about it! No-one repeat no-one is making you pay it ! You have several options as do others. I agree with some that the dropping of the installment plan could be handled better and maybe instead of end of June given people another month July to actually get CC if they wanted them. However I can understand why the club do not want any risk or spend the time chasing debt or taking away STs its not what as a football club our priority is.
djharvey Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 You'd have been a fine citizen of Vichy France. You would never of made the beaches on D DAY. You would of been on the south coast moaning and crying about something or other!
dune Posted 4 June, 2010 Author Posted 4 June, 2010 Well then its your choice or prefence to pay it so stop going on about it! No-one repeat no-one is making you pay it ! Why should this method of purchasing carry such an excessive fee when the amount isn't justified?

Hypocracy?
