Areas Of The Club To Boycott

If I remember rightly, was'nt it mentioned by the new owners that they wanted Sfc to be pretty much self sufficient once all the debts were cleared.

Perhaps this is book balancing time, perhaps this is NC demonstrating to ML that Sfc can hold its own financially which then proves to ML we are sound financially and that he is not pumping money into a dark void. This in turn may give ML more confidence in investing more funds which is obviously required for the big promotion push.

What we dont need is some militant knee jerker throwing his toys out of the pram and aiming his infantile rants at the people who saved our club from oblivion.

Haven't we had enough already!

With the rip off ticket tax, and the shoddy treatment of fans who cannot afford to pay for season tickets in one hit, it is going cost a lot of us a damn site more to watch third division football next season.

Cortese must be laughing his head off at the complaints because he thinks he has us over a barrel and the mugs will moan but they'll have to put up with it and pay more.

However the extra spent on tickets can be clawed back by boycotting the club programme, club merchandise (including the new shirt), matchday hospitality, the travel club, and food and drink on the concourse. I'm not saying a blanket boycott is needed, but I for one will be making a conscious effort to spend less on the extras next season.

lol:rolleyes:

I love the original post, not least because it's clearly ****ed off the Evangelical wing of Saints fans, who love Saints sooooooo much they simply can't pay enough just to prove their love.

Pity so many of them can't make a coherent argument in response and just resort to calling the OP a "tit" fool" etc etc etc.

For what it' worth I recently watched a 3rd flight game in france and paid 1 euro entrance.

Yes the standard was at least 2 leagues lower than our own third flight, but if you consider Eastleigh charge a tenner entrance, and some mugs pay it!!

But some people just love to bend over and take a shafting.

So you haven't renewed your ST Brother Francis???

Eastleigh £10? Happy to pay sooooo much (£14) to watch Lallana,Lambert, Fonte, Puncheon etc.

Coherent enough for you?

I agree with the opening the post.

The rest of you can continue applauding being charged more money.

NC should at least have had the decency of just increasing the ticket price by £3 rather than the ridiculous add ons.

Where possible pay on the day away from home so they dont get the £3 just for the privilidge of sending you a ticket.

can't believe others can't see THE CLUB ARE TAKING THE ****

Of course they are! They should just cut the st's even more and let the cherry pesters finance all the players, salaries, the fact we are not in the blue square and ad infinitum!

Dune, I suggest you read this post, and then read it again. Warning, it contains common sense and foresight, so you may not understand it.

When Alpine Saint is calling you pathetic, you know it's time to pack it in really. Did your NF march not go well today or something Stanley? You just seem a bit grumpier than usual, you're always such a polite, understanding and cohesive chap.

FWIW, I will answer to the OP rather than just aiming the usual insults at him. At the end of the day, what's £3 if you want to buy a ticket every now and then? That tax isn't going to apply to ST holders that go every week, it's mainly aimed at people who choose to go when they please rather than when they are obliged. And as for the lack of installation payments, it was a bit underhand to not inform people of it not being included, but it's not the end of the world, and certainly not worth boycotting the club over.

I wonder how much the French 5th division (or Eastleigh) pay their players. You can thank Mr Murdoch and the grasping players and their agents for the parlous state of football before aiming your sights at the club who have to pay these ridiculous wages. It is not rocket science.

AND!

It won't. When the season ticket sales total is released phase 2 will start. If gates drop phase 3 will start and so on and so on. By trying to rip fans off and by treating them so shodilly Cortese has created this bad feeling and unless he backs down or compromises this matter will not be forgotten.

I bet Cortese thinks that in a few weeks this will all be forgotten.

It will. It's the nature of business: things change; people moan about the changes; people move on and get on with it.

I don't like the imposed changes as much as anybody, and I think everyone is entitled to express their dissatisfaction with the club. But seriously, your vindictive campaign is now getting a little bit obsessed and a little bit sad.

It's a matter of principle. The £3 ticket tax is a rip off and unless we stand up to Cortese he'll keep hiking the prices and ripping us off.

Anyone who seriously avocates what the original idiot poster has proposed should in my opinion be banned by Cortese from setting foot in the stadium. FFS, they've scrapped the payment plan, not shut the club down. I dont care how small your boycott is, YOU ARE LUCKY TO HAVE A CLUB!! We nearly got shut down but were saved by a billionaire who has invested massively in our club yet just because they are now asking for money up front for a season ticket, you see fit to call a boycott? Stop being such a whiny baby and get over it FFS.

You're either a massive WUM or a complete and utter dipstick. Or both. You and anyone who agrees with your deluded POV don't deserve a decent football club to support. You'll not be crying like a girl on here when we gain auto promotion eh? No, you'll be the best supporter ever then.

Get over it mate. It's a business and you are a customer. A customer is required to meet the terms of purchase set out by the vendor. Sometimes its not convenient and sometimes due to circumstances the terms of purchase change. If you cant afford the season ticket or choose not to purchase that is your problem, not the clubs. Frankly speaking, a boycott of any description is f**king ludicrous given what Cortese and Liebherr have done for the club in such a short space of time.

You've fallen into the same trap as Cortese in underestimating how far fans can be pushed.

You are talking on behalf of the fans, yet over 90% of fans on this site are disagreeing with you. That basically means you are talking crap and should ssshhh.

I cant wait for all the fans boycotting if we get to Wembley again, there wont be many who avoid paying the booking fee then Lol

We had to pay it last time, but that was suposedly Wembleys fault. The fact Nicola Cortese took personal charge of the selling arrangements was a mere coincidence.

And thank God he did. When I got my Cortese-signed Wembley ticket from him (just after he'd processed my debit card) it made it more worthwhile. It was the personal touch that made it for me.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry and the original posters opening post. That post is the sort of thing

I would expect Jawwillwill or Kadeem to start in TMS.

Yeah, except neither of those posters ever really post in TMS and neither of them have ever started a thread there and neither of them have ever posted anything even similar to that. Otherwise I see your point though.

why would you boycott you p*ick. We are in the best situation for years financially and are really going. I expect your type that have caused instalements to be withdrawn as you defaulted on them. Dont tell me you want Lowe back? Get a life and get a season ticket, where there is a will there is away, there are plenty of interest free loans out there if you look hard enough. I expect we are going to have the best season we have had for many a year next year and all some people want to do is moan. Put your money where your mouth is just like King leibuhre had. Put up or shut up!!!!
