NorthamSteve Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 Line up is amazing; RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE GORGOL BORDELLO ROOTS MANUVA GALLOWS Cost me £3 for special Delivery (which was optional, you could have opted for completely free) what a bargain! So, who else is going?
SuperMikey Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 I'm so p1ssed off that I didn't get tickets for this gig, i've been a Rage fan for years and love all their songs, and now my ticket for this gig is going to go to some 13 year old sh1tbag who heard their song on the radio once and is going to go with his two best friends Humphrey and Percival. Seriously f*cks me off. F*cking hell. Love the lineup too, Roots Manuva is quality! Perhaps not best suited for a Rage concert, but GOGOL F*CKING BORDELLO!? I was even more p1ssed off about not going when I saw the support acts.

He will go on to create a completely new genre of music that you will hate because you do not understand it and because you will have become an old fogey.
SuperMikey Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 The 13 year old sh1tbag will be sat at the back eating the smoked salmon sandwiches that mummy packed for him.
treggs23 Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 can't wait for this gig, also heading to Download next weekend too so will get to see Rage twice, although Megadeth will probably be my personal highlight...
Saint_Jonny Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 I'm going. Dont like any of the support acts mind. Looking forward to seeing Rage again though (saw them at Reading in 08). Im not that excited but it'll be a good day out.

SuperMikey Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 Got to say, Reading was great in 08. Rage, Metallica and Tenacious D were all brilliant. Reading is such a sh1t festival though, not allowed to take your own drink inside, extortionate prices and security Nazis patrolling the campsites like Auschwitz. Still had a great time with my mates though, even if it was warm Strongbow all weekend....gag. And to top it all off, I made £120 with a couple of my mates collecting paper cups that people had thrown away and recycling them at the bar during The Killers because they were sh1t. 30p a cup, yes please!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 I'm so p!ssed off I'm not going. It's an outrage. I spent 99p buying their x-mas single, and I can't even go to this gig. I shall be writing to the lead singer and stating my anger. I liked that crimbo song, is this how they treat their fans?
Dr Who? Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 Yes I am going and cannot wait for the party to end all parties. It is going to be a riot, I really really really cannot wait. Saw them in 1992 at the Reading Festival when they were second on the bill to Porno for Piros!! My photo on the ticket is me in my wedding get up, does not really go with the gig!! Bring it on!!

SuperMikey Posted 3 June, 2010 Posted 3 June, 2010 whereas you are a real revolutioonary bringing down the system by posting on Sainstweb Long Live the Revolution! Viva La Revolution! I did really want to go to that gig though
Saint_Jonny Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 2008. Was a great year at Reading that year↲Absolutely, no plans on going again any time soon though as the line ups have been largely **** since 2005.
saint_bert Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 08 was superb. Shame Slipknot and avenged sevenfold pulled out though
SuperMikey Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 It was fun bottling Bring Me The Horizon though, making them feel the wrath of Slipknot pulling out!
saint_bert Posted 4 June, 2010 Posted 4 June, 2010 It was fun bottling Bring Me The Horizon though, making them feel the wrath of Slipknot pulling out! Was asleep for most of Sunday. My mate woke me up after treading on me during Flannigans Ball. Douche
NorthamSteve Posted 7 June, 2010 Author Posted 7 June, 2010 WOW. Rage were better than I've seen them before. Clearly enjoying themselves. Gogol were great fun. Roots Manuva was cool as ever I wasn't bothered much by Gallows. All-in-all it was a wicked night.
