Nexstar Posted 15 June, 2010 Posted 15 June, 2010 Not true, people next to me on saturday were new ticket holders. I have renewed also*. *With your mum's money But existing season ticket holders have until the end of June for exclusivity on their current seats. I have renewed also.
aintforever Posted 15 June, 2010 Posted 15 June, 2010 I don't think I will bother this year as i usually pay with the instalment plan. I can afford it but just think the way they have handled it is rude. June 2009 - Please throw your money in the bucket and save our jobs. June 2010 - Give us £400 in 20 days time or lose the seat you've had for 8 years. I'm just going to cherry pick the glamour ties. ...it will be a cheap season.
fish fingers Posted 17 June, 2010 Posted 17 June, 2010 I'm in, promises to be a cracking season. Bring on the Rochdale.
Saint_clark Posted 17 June, 2010 Posted 17 June, 2010 Has anyone who paid online/over the phone actually received their tickets yet?
RonManager Posted 17 June, 2010 Posted 17 June, 2010 Has anyone who paid online/over the phone actually received their tickets yet? I was told mid July.
Georgie Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 I am renewing tomorrow, but unfortunately may be sat on my own next season!
View From The Top Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 Did mine last night for the nipper and myself.
StuRomseySaint Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 The club don't seem to be shouting from the hilltops how many season tickets they have sold so far, like they have done in previous seasons. :-)
Georgie Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 The club don't seem to be shouting from the hilltops how many season tickets they have sold so far, like they have done in previous seasons. :-) What happended to your reply from Cortese, did you not get one at half 11 last night?!
View From The Top Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 The club don't seem to be shouting from the hilltops how many season tickets they have sold so far, like they have done in previous seasons. :-) I'm sure that come season KO that the amount lost to the stupid idea of losing the installment plan will be made up by new sales.
StuRomseySaint Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 What happended to your reply from Cortese, did you not get one at half 11 last night?! No, I didn't. Day 17 in the Big Complaint House - I have been mugged off again after being promised yesterday morning that I would have a response by close of business yesterday. I can only think I have asked the club some very difficult questions that they are finding it hard to think of a reasonable reply.
StuRomseySaint Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 I'm sure that come season KO that the amount lost to the stupid idea of losing the installment plan will be made up by new sales. £10 to help for heroes bet with you that we have less season ticket holders this year than we did last year?
Georgie Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 £10 to help for heroes bet with you that we have less season ticket holders this year than we did last year? I bet we have about the same
View From The Top Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 £10 to help for heroes bet with you that we have less season ticket holders this year than we did last year? I'm happy with that as it's a great cause and they benefit either way.
StuRomseySaint Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 I'm happy with that as it's a great cause and they benefit either way. Deal. And Georgie, I will take that bet as well. If we don't have 13,425 tickets EXACTLY then you own a tenner to Help for Heroes ( as well as owing me a few drinks already ) :-)
Georgie Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 Deal. And Georgie, I will take that bet as well. If we don't have 13,425 tickets EXACTLY then you own a tenner to Help for Heroes ( as well as owing me a few drinks already ) :-) I put 'about the same' so surely it can be slightly less?! Oh and I know I owe you several drinks, I would have bought you some tonight but you are not going to town to watch England game! So not sure when I will buy your drinks, seeing as you are not going to any games at SMS next season!

You are quite welcome to drink in the Bedes Lea Tavern, which is after all... where the amazing people like myself will be watching the game.
Block 5 Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 Block 5 crew have renewed and got 2 freebies for kids so we can spread out a bit.
oldsarum Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 Renewed lunchtime at ticket office, where there were several people getting season tickets for the first time
sotonjoe Posted 18 June, 2010 Posted 18 June, 2010 Renewed mine and my mate's this morning. Mange to move from block 32 to (effectively) slap bang on the halfway line in block 31 as well, so really looking forward to taking up those seats for the first time
Redbul Posted 23 June, 2010 Posted 23 June, 2010 Went down and renewed mine and my nipper's with my newly acquired credit card which will now be locked safely away until renewal time next year.
West End Saint Posted 23 June, 2010 Posted 23 June, 2010 Done £328 and a free under 8's is good value I still think the club made a big mistake not having a payment plan but it is done and paid for now can't wait for the new season UTS !
LostBoys Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 I renewed mine yesterday and there was no-one at the ticket office. The actual tickets will be with me in mid July I was advised.
simondo Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 does anyone know when you can buy a new season ticket, not a renewal? i rang the ticket office and the guy there didn't know...
oldsarum Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 When I purchased my season ticket at the ticket office last week, there were supporters who were not existing season ticket holders purchasing New season tickets.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 does anyone know when you can buy a new season ticket, not a renewal? i rang the ticket office and the guy there didn't know... I think what it is is at the moment you can buy a new season ticket, as long as it's not a seat that somebody had a season ticket in last season. Then after renewals finish at the end of the month, the seats of all the people who haven't renewed also become available.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 does anyone know when you can buy a new season ticket, not a renewal? i rang the ticket office and the guy there didn't know... I was a first time buyer and got ours on the day that sales started.
BadgerBadger Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 I've renewed, look forward to see who has renewed around me in
simondo Posted 24 June, 2010 Posted 24 June, 2010 thanks, just rung up and got mine now COYR!!! we are gonna murder this league this year!
mikee Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Renewed mine yesterday and bumped into my mate who sits next to me who was doing the same! We have a few newcomers who want to sit with us in the Northam so hopefully all of these people not renewing will give us a chance to grab a bigger group of seats together. Every cloud has a silver lining ;-)
HighcliffeSaint Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Renewed 15mins ago. Adult & under 8 pair for £328 Block 34 row L. Get in.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 I renewed my seat. I trust you are all better off knowing this. This is like the coolest thread ever, with the coolest people in the world ever.
Alanh Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Just renewed for me and my son. Looking forward to Plymouth on the 7th August.
Dave Benson Phillips Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Just renewed for me and my son. Looking forward to Plymouth on the 7th August. Well done, well done. * Gives Sarcastic Round of Applause * How many have we sold now? About 100 it seems. That is pathetic.
Alanh Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Well done, well done. * Gives Sarcastic Round of Applause * How many have we sold now? About 100 it seems. That is pathetic. You're a piece of work aren't you! The thread is about buying a season ticket and 90% of the responses follow the OP, but you have to . You've made your contribution by telling everyone you've renewed your own seat (well done, sarcastic applause), now sod off and annoy someone else.
paris Posted 25 June, 2010 Posted 25 June, 2010 Look's as though the majority of people are informed of the season tickets being on sale , some on here would have us believe otherwise .....
waggy Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 .. just don't drive thru' Romsey, its the epicentre of a peasants revolt don't you know.
1576 Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 Are blocks 1-3 open this year? No, I asked this morning when I renewed in block 5. Would love to move back to block 3.
North Wilts Saint Posted 26 June, 2010 Posted 26 June, 2010 Four more renewed, from background noise ticket office seemed very busy
