St Landrew Posted 31 May, 2010 Posted 31 May, 2010 It has started. The shuffle has begun already, with Beckford going to Everton. Now who are Leeds going to try and replace him with..? I wonder if the butterfly wings will affect us..? Note that even though this may have some Saints relevance, it's here in GS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/8714418.stm
dune Posted 31 May, 2010 Posted 31 May, 2010 Beckford is never good enough for the Premiership. What a bad signing.
S-Clarke Posted 31 May, 2010 Posted 31 May, 2010 No idea why everton have done that, he's not good enough IMO. at 27 he's not even proven himself in the champ.

SuperMikey Posted 31 May, 2010 Posted 31 May, 2010 Maybe he'll prove us all wrong and become a good player at that level, but I don't think his performances this season warranted a Prem move. Fair enough, he was sh!t hot in the first half of the season, but after he scored against Man Utd he went from hot sh!t to dog sh!t. His bad attitude reared it's head when he got subbed a couple of times as well. Nevertheless, not a bad signing on a free, but possibly a bit of a gamble on Everton's part. Leeds really lost out though, considering clubs were chasing after him for over £2m in January.
ribbo Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 leeds united just signed billy painter, guess thats who is replacing Beckford. http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20100602/billys-the-boy-_2247585_2063633
RedAndWhite91 Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 He was crap against us both times he played us, he moped about and got stroppy, missed loads of chances and came across an arrogant knobhead. Good luck in the PL Beckford, you're gonna need it.
