I'll dig my diary for 1969 out of the roofspace to see if it sheds any light on the episode.

The only ground I've ever sent my sausage to the sea was at Burnley

 

The seat was broken, the cubicle door didn't lock and the toilet wouldn't flush properly

 

It basically summed up Turf Moor as a ground

I have, but it was in the hospitality area and as I remember the lavatory was very clean too. Followed it up with some sheperds pie and about 4 pints.

 

In fact I quite enjoy having a dump away from home as often as possible. I always save one up for when I need to take a plane.

People moan about modern stadia being "identikit". People often say that Leicester's ground is the same as ours.

 

Well, I've had a poo at Leicester's ground and I think, just from glancing my eyes that way when having a wee at SMS, that SMS has nicer cubicles.

 

I have some photos I took around my Leicester crap - does anyone have any photos of themselves taking a plop at SMS? I would be willing to swap. In order to compare.

Had two dumps at St Marys, both within about twenty minutes of each other (dodgy pint earlier!).

Also managed a p*** in players toilets at the dell during a tour. Felt really proud, thinking of all the players who had p***ed there before.
