Fowllyd Posted 29 May, 2010 Posted 29 May, 2010 A true star, acted with many of the greats and had a remarkably long career. His performance as Frank Booth in Blue Velvet was just superb.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 29 May, 2010 Posted 29 May, 2010 Shame his last days were filled with nastiness with the legal problems between him and his family.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 29 May, 2010 Posted 29 May, 2010 I have liked him ever since i saw him in "Rebel without a cause",with James Dean.My only criticism is that he was typecast as a badie in most of his films. Still a sad loss.
Suhari Posted 29 May, 2010 Posted 29 May, 2010 Too many classic films to mention. Seems to have been around for ever. Strangely about an hour ago, well before I heard the news, a group of us were discussing his role in Apocolyse Now over a cheapy curry in Winchester. Sad loss. And I rarely say that about the Hollywood sect. RIP.
Hamilton Saint Posted 29 May, 2010 Posted 29 May, 2010 I'll remember him most for Easy Rider and the crazed photographer in Apocalypse Now.
skintsaint Posted 31 May, 2010 Posted 31 May, 2010 RIP Agree with previous comments and the scene from True Romance with Christopher Walken is one of my favs.
