Hamilton Saint Posted 28 May, 2010 Posted 28 May, 2010 Free As a Bird. Impressive production on this one. How many references to other songs of theirs can you spot in this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glUFjjkYuAk

the stain Posted 28 May, 2010 Posted 28 May, 2010 These are two of my favourites. Possibly slightly obvious and both by the same director, but I love them... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoJeiRVnlu8 Aphex Twin - Windowlicker Bjork - All Is Full Of Love
saintscottofthenortham Posted 29 May, 2010 Author Posted 29 May, 2010 Radiohead - 'No Suprises' Brilliant Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgzeqwhNTDk
St Landrew Posted 1 June, 2010 Posted 1 June, 2010 Free As a Bird. Impressive production on this one. How many references to other songs of theirs can you spot in this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glUFjjkYuAk Haven't seen this in years, and it oozes 60's mock and real history and melts together. Great track too. Can I sense a trace of Beach Boys in there..?
Ponty Posted 1 June, 2010 Posted 1 June, 2010 I would say this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npOmoXbfLRQ but it doesn't seem quite as impressive to me now as it did over a decade ago.
St Landrew Posted 1 June, 2010 Posted 1 June, 2010 I would say this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npOmoXbfLRQ but it doesn't seem quite as impressive to me now as it did over a decade ago. Spoilt by the music.
Block 5 Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 Probably the greatest music video ever made. Definitely the most poignant.
norwaysaint Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 A few obvious ones just Christopher Walken Prodigy Definitely not safe for work and best watched without the sound on really: Girls on film
JackFrost Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 I would say this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npOmoXbfLRQ but it doesn't seem quite as impressive to me now as it did over a decade ago. preferred Here To Stay personally
saintscottofthenortham Posted 2 June, 2010 Author Posted 2 June, 2010 Probably the greatest music video ever made. Definitely the most poignant. Great track as well as a very sad one. A frail old man pushing out yet more great music. Like the flashbacks in the vid... But the lyrics do get to me.
Ponty Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 I prefer this solo version by Trent Reznor. IMO it kicks the arse of his original NiN version and the Johnny Cash one too (although Reznor arranged and played on the Cash version too, I believe). Nothing special about the video though, so it probably doesn't belong here.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cefrrdRUid4
saint_bert Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 I would say this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npOmoXbfLRQ but it doesn't seem quite as impressive to me now as it did over a decade ago. True meaning of a guilty pleasure
saint_bert Posted 2 June, 2010 Posted 2 June, 2010 Probably the greatest music video ever made. Definitely the most poignant. NIN did this song first
OldNick Posted 19 June, 2010 Posted 19 June, 2010 Definitely not safe for work and best watched without the sound on really: Girls on film Justify my love -Madonna
