manji Posted 28 May, 2010 Posted 28 May, 2010 Saw at The Pyramids about 6 years ago.Quite entertaining.Apparently they are playing pretty much the same set now.Sounding quite dated, they have become another nostalgia band.
warsash saint Posted 28 May, 2010 Posted 28 May, 2010 Seen Faithless about 6 or 7 times over the years - remember seeing them in a small tent at Tribal Gathering in Luton in about 1997 before they got big ......always a great night though from a top live band. Never released they were playing the Guildhall until too late & all the tickets were sold out

Blinding set including all the NEW tracks from the NEW album (not sure how they played those six years ago)
Spudders Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Blinding set including all the NEW tracks from the NEW album (not sure how they played those six years ago) I'm looking forward to seeing Faithless at Glastonbury this year.
SuperMikey Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 I'm looking forward to seeing Faithless at Glastonbury this year. Me also, not seen them before but watched dozens of live clips of them on YouTube and bought their Alexandra Palace live album, all of it is blinding. Jack Johnson, Faithless and then Stevie Wonder to finish off the weekend - lovely!
Spudders Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Saw them a few years back at some dance event (think it was homelands) one of those bands that are fantastic live. (I won't be hanging around for Stevie Wonder though )
SuperMikey Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Ahh, you've got to catch a bit of the Wonder! Are you leaving the site or watching another headliner?
Spudders Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Wil still be onsite, just not a Wonder fan, so will check out either Ash in the John Peel area, or Orbital on the other stage.
SuperMikey Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Seen Ash about 4 times, they're always great live, they'll put on a good show. Not sure about Orbital though, might not transfer so well live like Massive Attack a few years ago (they were absolutely awful, boring as hell).
Spudders Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 Yeah true, I'm not a massive Orbital fan anyway. I see Above & Beyond are playing last on Sunday in the East Dance area. I've always had a bit of a trance soft spot, so could easily find myself there. I guess that's the good thing about glastonbury, you often end up where you didn't plan on being
SuperMikey Posted 30 May, 2010 Posted 30 May, 2010 That is certainly one of the best things about Glasto - that and the food!
