um pahars Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Someone mentioned on here a few weeks back that the Club have still to receive the money. No idea if true or not, but it was a strange deal all round.
Long Shot Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Still waiting to be told about the Walcott money too
um pahars Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Still waiting to be told about the Walcott money too No one at the time even acknowledged we had gone through with this, which I thought was poor by Crouch/Hoos. It was only leaks in the press, and Wilde and Lowe using it in their 9 points in the Echo (they look very lame now BTW), that we got to hear of it.

And no, I haven't got time to trawl through the internet to find them myself hence trying to get someone to do it for me!!

No idea if true or not, but it was a strange deal all round. Keeps on happening with these Qatari clubs, they swiped a couple of guys from St Etienne last week, the players are gone, tapped up and money in their pockets but St Etienne are still waiting for the 9 million euros in transfer fees. The guys seem to have just p!ssed off to the Gulf without any formal negociations between the clubs or anything. Apparently all this was provoked by agents at the African Nations Cup last year.
dubai_phil Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 (edited) Europeans in "not getting paid by Gulf Arabs" shocker hahahahahahahahaha never heard THAT one before Edited 26 September, 2008 by dubai_phil
Window Cleaner Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Europeans in "not getting paid by Gulf Arabs" shocker hahahahahahahahaha never heard THAT one before Well I hope the Pakistani Cricket Board have got their money up front. Back to the Feinduno affair, from my sources at Guichard, if they don't get paid by 5pm this afternoon they are sending bailiffs to bring the players back-bet they don't though;

I thought if the buying club doesn't pay up then because you can hold on to the registration the player can't `officially' play. If the league they are in allows it then that country can be banned from FIFA competitions?
saint lard Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 http://www.qatarsc.com/default.html Now before i start to translate it do i go from left to right or right to left;)

If the league they are in allows it then that country can be banned from FIFA competitions? We're talking about Qatar here. FIFA's rules are only applicable to serious footballing nations.Who cares if Qatar play in the World Cup,their national side played against a club I coached a bit once, we won 4-1.Our lads had all worked at their daytime jobs on that day as well.
Chris Larkin Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Isn't that Safri on the right there?
Window Cleaner Posted 26 September, 2008 Posted 26 September, 2008 Isn't that Safri on the right there? 5 is El Karkouri, Safri is indeed on the right.

That'll be nothing to all the fun and games if Newcastle ever get taken over by the "Hello dare" Nigerian Synicate. If he falls for it, Ashley will reap his just desserts.
