I don't think so. Single currency isn't the problem, in my opinion. It's been local regulatory failings and irresponsible bail-outs etc.

It will survive in the short term for political reasons, but in the long term the differences between club med countries and northern european countries will make it very difficult.

Plus the pound will be devalued - we can't get away from this.

I just hope Markus has been sensible and has his money in Swiss Francs - if its in Euros our transfer budget may be seriously compromised.
