Master Bates Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 A death row inmate scheduled for execution says he's too fat to be put to death, claiming executioners would have trouble finding his veins and that his weight could diminish the effectiveness of one of the lethal injection drugs. Lawyers for Richard Cooey argue in a federal lawsuit that Cooey—5-feet-7 and 267 pounds—had poor veins when he faced execution five years ago and the problem has been worsened by weight gain. Cooey, 41, is sentenced to die for raping and murdering two young women in 1986. His execution is scheduled for Oct. 14.
nexus icon Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 Can't they stick him in the chair instead ? Watch that flubber fry! 1/3 for today.
scott_saints Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 Bit of an extreme sentence imo. It's not like he did anything serious.
Flyer Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 So hes been in prison over a decade and hes still over 18 stone, why didnt they give him less food. Put him on a salad only diet for 6 months and then kill him, that will be worse for the fat **** than dying now.
ozzmeister Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 Im pretty sure he was on a programme on sky recently called something like Americas dangerous prisons. He was a nut job and had gammy hands and burns al over him. May be a different guy though.
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 6 August, 2008 Posted 6 August, 2008 Watch that flubber fry! 1/3 for today. That made me lol! On a serious note though, why dont they rape his with an over sized dildo, then murder him in the same way he did to his victims. Do un to others.......
