Danny Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 As far as stupid ideas go, this must be quite high up there: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2010/05/10/stadium-idea-for-liverpool-and-everton-football-clubs-unveiled-100252-26411623/
MongoNeil Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 Hahaha, really? They see no problems with that then? Really..... As I work on the edge of scouseland, I'll take great pleasure in bringing this to my colleagues attention.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 Lol, ridiculous. Either build two separately or share a ground.
The9 Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 (edited) The fact they refuse point blank to share a ground when the council has said it will only fund one new ground (and already given permission to Liverpool to build on Stanley Park) makes the whole thing bloody preposterous. The bit about sharing a stand isn't that new an idea, Cardiff RFC and the Arms Park had a shared concourse before they built the Millennium Stadium on the site and eventually moved Cardiff rugby to the Leckwith site with the detestable football team. Hatch Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 yes, it is stupid. But they are scousers, so it will probably happen.
Big John Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 yes, it is stupid. But they are scousers, so it will probably happen. It's in case one gets nicked.
Hatch Posted 10 May, 2010 Posted 10 May, 2010 If you sort of squint and look at the image, it could be a pair of handcuffs... Make them all feel at home.
Durleyfos Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 As there is a poll on that page, isn't it time for another TSW poll rigging exercise? 'Redevelop existing grounds' is in last place at the moment. I'm sure that can change...
