Quick question for those in the know. Going to the game tomorrow with a couple of mates. Want to take a little bit of booze with us to cheapen the day out. Club website says:

No alcohol shall be brought into the Ground at Twenty 20, International or other major matches. At domestic matches other than Twenty 20, a maximum of 4 cans of beer or equivalent or 70cl of wine may be brought into the Ground.

Now apologies if this sounds stupid, but this isn't very clear to me. If we enter together, are we therefore allowed 70 cl of wine each, so, if we have a bag with 2 bottles of wine in, we will be okay?

If you get caught, point at some random that just walked in ahead of you and say that you are carrying their allocation as well.....

Great, thank you muchly! Have often thought of taking booze to county matches but always forget and have to spend the whole day getting stung at the beer tent, so wasn't sure how it worked. Whenever I have gone in before I have often seen people getting booze confiscated so I was a bit wary. This is further compounded by the fact the regulations state 70 cl wine, when of course a standard bottle is 75 cl. Suppose I will take 3 bottles but just drink a bit of each before we get there!
