Anyone else pick up that they said Ricky Lambert is the highest football league scorer of this millenium?

I thought they said 'footballing', but either way that's pretty bloody spectacular. Well done Sir Rickie!

From the Chapel it looked like that Mousa (?) goal was a absolute stunner with Kelvin well beaten, on the telly it looked like Kelvin got his finger tips to it.

I had a great view of that from the top of Block 37. He did, and diverted it considerably, but all to no avail.

I was in the Kingsland right behind the shot and for a moment I though he was going to save it but just his fingertips and a diversion, I'm afraid. I applauded the goal though.

You were not alone, I did then realised what I was doing became concious of the fact then noticed lots of folks around me doing the same.

And me...quality goal, nearly a quality save. The full back involved looked about 15 - had a good game too.

Same here - could see the build up and just knew it was going to result in a goal. Very well worked and a perfect strike into the far corner from the keeper.

There were quite a few of us applauding the goal in Kingsland Block 36. We had a great view down the "line of fire" and it deserved acknowledgement from any reasonable (non-bigoted) sports fan. (If it had been a winning goal from a team we were in contention with, it might be different of course!)

So we let go of our our flasks and blankets just for a few moments to applaud in a very polite, British sort of way. :-)
