St Landrew Posted 9 May, 2010 Share Posted 9 May, 2010 Lindt 95% Cocoa - hardcore chocolate, not for beginners. I've never quite understood the concept of putting non-chocolate items into a chocolate bar, like nuts etc. All this does is use up valuable space that could be taken up by chocolate. And as for Aero Bars, well you're just being ripped off, plain and simple. IT IS A CHOCOLATE BAR THAT I AM BUYING FFS. If I want nuts or raisins etc I can buy them separately. I'm with you on this one, Ron. High cocoa content chocolate is the only way, at east 75% or better, although I suspect it is probably more popular with the older contingent of the population. In my younger days, a bar of Ol' Jamaica was fun. I especially liked the rolling-eyed pirate character in the advert, who used to wax lyrical that it was laced with Jamaica Rum... but then would reluctantly let the word flavour escape his mouth. Can't have any alcohol in a potential kiddies purchase, after all. Flakes were fun too, but best stuck in a 99 ice cream cornet, when they were great. hamster Posted 9 May, 2010 Share Posted 9 May, 2010 This Mars is my absolte favourite. I used to eat 10 poacks when I was a lorry driver, only stopped eating them like that after a painful trip to the dentist resulting in about 4 extractions and a mouthful of fillings. I was so glad thast they din't completely ditch the King Size version the other year - I only ever buy the Duo when i have one, them single bars are for lightweights. Anyway, 'a Mars a day helps you Work, Rest AND Play'. Get in.
Gorgiesaint Posted 9 May, 2010 Share Posted 9 May, 2010 For everyday eating - has to be the KitKat Chunky. But slightly surprised only one person has mentioned the Topic. One to reminisce (sp) with as well, the Starbar!!

Minty Posted 10 May, 2010 Share Posted 10 May, 2010 Some good nominations here, but I have to mention the 'Fuse'... I still mourn it's passing, and hope to see it return one day. Of those available now, Double Decker gets my vote, just ahead of Mint Aero, Twix, Galaxy, Dairy Milk, Co-op White Chocolate Crispies bar, Toffee Crisp, Caramac, KitKat, KitKat Chunky, Flake, Twirl... and probably lots of others. Me? A Chocoholic? Never.
