Poor IMO.

should have scored and completely missed the goal, hasn't improved since he left us.

Will hopefully get some confidence from scoring in L2 though, good level for him to find his feet.

Spooned all his chances but won a fair amount of headers V Jaidi. Will be a good league one target man.

League Two target man you mean, with the Shrimpers going down?

No I mean at his peak he will be a good league one target man

Might just cut it in the lower CCC, but definitely no higher.

He got booed a lot, not sure why, and "that's why we let you go" was sung after he fluffed a chance. He didn't stand out at all though really.

But not as funny as Southend Fans singing "That why were going down, That why were going down "

Brought back memories of our trip to Notts Forest on the last day of last season.

Thought he looked quite good in the first half hour before drifting off at half time. Had a couple of good chances which he missed, yes, but did create himself. Was very impressed with some of his movement today and at points Martin really struggled to cope. Shows the cort of quality our academy produces.

Ended the game as the match's dirtiest player with 3 fouls, missed three chances and didn't really do much else.

Don't agree with anyone giving him grief though, he was very sad to leave this club IIRC.

Who wouldnt be sad to leave a club that's quite literally out of his league and a complete meal ticket..... IMO a non league player he's on par with Lancashire and the like..

Where I was it was all very light hearted. He got applause when his name was read out pre-match, and was jeered (but took it all in good humour) in his warm up whenever he missed a practice shot.
