So it's the typical borefest that is Barcelona.

 

Looks like the Red Bulls are going to win by about a lap. Interesting to see who can get the last step of the podium though

Vettel to win as Webber will c@ck it up somewhere. Lewis third.

 

Problem is the teams all know barca as they all test there in the winter.

Well that was that then. First lap over and done, no incidents and a nice little Sunday drive to the end of the race for everyone now. Very exciting

Barcelona is always boring. This was actually one of the more exciting races in recent years

Jerez would be an arguably more interesting GP. There were a few lols in that race, as much out of pity as anything, such as Hamilton's rim failure, Webber's lack of acknowledgement by the crowd for actually winning and then him thinking his national anthem had finished when they played the 12" remix.

There is one thing that the owners of the Barcelona circuit could do which would make the race drastically more interesting, and that is to re-design the first corner like they have done at the Nurburgring.

 

The pit-straight at Barcelona is one of the longest in F1 but the braking zone for the first corner is too short and leaves no opportunity for overtaking. Look at Button and Schumi yesterday - Button was so much faster down the main straight and with a longer braking zone he might have been brave enough to try and stick one up the inside, but there was no way he was going to get past and gave up in the end.

Apparently nobody in the top 8 overtook anyone in that race.
