saint_stevo Posted 8 May, 2010 Author Posted 8 May, 2010 Don goodman though, is a total ****le. Apparently when cohen lashed one in the top corner with some swerve it was all down to him knowing about the wind direction......idiot
saint_stevo Posted 8 May, 2010 Author Posted 8 May, 2010 How many ex saints among the 2 matchday squads!? Crainey, ormerod, euell, blackstock, mcgoldrick........
S-Clarke Posted 8 May, 2010 Posted 8 May, 2010 1-1 now, really good game to watch. Could go either way this tie...
countysaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Hi Does anyone have a link to a live stream for this game please? Cheers
Andy_Porter Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 http://www.atdhe.net/19144/watch-notthingham-forest-vs-blackpool
bpsaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Quality game so far, currently 4-2 Blackpool on the night,6-3 on aggregate. Full credit to Ian Holloway, done a fantastic job this season.
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 What a performance by Blackpool tonight. 4-2 (6-3) up DJ Campbell hat-trick. Completely outplayed Forest.
saintkiptanui Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 The worry is they won't perform against cardiff (if they get to the final) really don't want cardiff to get promoted.
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 McGoldrick looks like he's put on about 2 stones since he left us.
bpsaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Of the 4 ex-Saints bidding for a place in the Prem tonight does anyone think they'd get into our League One team?
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Of the 4 ex-Saints bidding for a place in the Prem tonight does anyone think they'd get into our League One team? I'd have Blackstock back.
S-Clarke Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 quality, well played blackpool - brilliant performance.
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 quality, well played blackpool - brilliant performance. Well done Ian Holloway. Was being talked of as a joke of a manager after QPR and Plymouth but certainly put a decent team together there.
revolution saint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Of the 4 ex-Saints bidding for a place in the Prem tonight does anyone think they'd get into our League One team? Blackstock, Ormerod, McGoldrick...who was the other one or am I being dense?
bpsaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Good game that, thoroughly deserved win. Hope Leicester can come up with a similar away performance tomorrow, would hate to see Cardiff in the Prem. Hope it hurts Davies!
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Blackstock, Ormerod, McGoldrick...who was the other one or am I being dense? Crainey.
bpsaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Blackstock, Ormerod, McGoldrick...who was the other one or am I being dense? Blackpool LB Stephen Crainey.
countysaint Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 What a fairy tale this would be for the Seasiders to get to the PL!! Cracking game tonight, and make no mistake........these boys are no mugs! Well done Ian Holloway, after that Knut Manderic shafted you!
SuperMikey Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Well done Ian Holloway. Was being talked of as a joke of a manager after QPR and Plymouth but certainly put a decent team together there. Tbf, most of that team was already at Blackpool before he joined, they just needed a good motivational manager to get them going.
badgerx16 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 What a fairy tale this would be for the Seasiders to get to the PL!! ! Yep, they'd be able to afford to finish the stadium.
stevegrant Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 I'll just leave this here for Billy Davies...
badgerx16 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Much as I want the 'pool to go up, there's a small part of me would love Leicester to make it, just to shove the 'boot boy' taunts up the @rses of the ***ts who peddled them
Whitey Grandad Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 I always find it fascinating how quickly the balloonful of excitement at reaching the playoffs is *****ed by the disappointment of the second semi-final.
Whitey Grandad Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Much as I want the 'pool to go up, there's a small part of me would love Leicester to make it, just to shove the 'boot boy' taunts up the @rses of the ***ts who peddled them Me too, but there would be a twinge of regret at what might have been.
krissyboy31 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Much as I want the 'pool to go up, there's a small part of me would love Leicester to make it, just to shove the 'boot boy' taunts up the @rses of the ***ts who peddled them Only trouble with that is he'll take Mandric with him. Best keep to Blackpool.
badgerx16 Posted 11 May, 2010 Posted 11 May, 2010 Only trouble with that is he'll take Mandric with him. Best keep to Blackpool. I've got 5 'pool ST holders in my office, and 3 more working in my other technical team 3 miles down the road. Plus my Arsenal supporting son is already chasing his contacts from work for Wembley corporate box tickets.
John B Posted 12 May, 2010 Posted 12 May, 2010 Much as I want the 'pool to go up, there's a small part of me would love Leicester to make it, just to shove the 'boot boy' taunts up the @rses of the ***ts who peddled them What about Dave Jones It would be great to see in the Premiership after all his troubles
Appy Posted 12 May, 2010 Posted 12 May, 2010 What about Dave Jones It would be great to see in the Premiership after all his troubles As much as i would like Dave Jones to do well. He had another chance in the Premiership with Wolves, so i would much rather Cardiff lose as i couldn't stand to see a Welsh team in the premiership, especially with their cvnts of fans.
