Wade Garrett Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Dune has informed me on another thread that the bookies are leaning towards another election this year. Just wondering if anyone else thinks that Labour may poll better under another leader. I like Gordon Brown, but he is the David James of politics - you're just waiting for him to make a mistake. He doesn't have the confidence of the electorate. However, someone like David Miliband is an entirely different proposition. He actually enjoyed his exchanges with Paxo last night, and is a bit smart. I think he could increase the Labour vote. Harriet Harman would sink the party without trace.

He's smarmy and smug and all teeth. Don't like him at all. Edited 7 May, 2010 by dune
Wade Garrett Posted 7 May, 2010 Author Posted 7 May, 2010 I hate him more than Brown. To be fair dune, I don't think you are their target vote.
BLINK Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Milliband made Osborne look a complete mug on itv yesterday
Wade Garrett Posted 7 May, 2010 Author Posted 7 May, 2010 Milliband made Osborne look a complete mug on itv yesterday To be fair, that's not too difficult.
bridge too far Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Milliband made Osborne look a complete mug on itv yesterday Not difficult because Osborne IS a complete mug. Anyone else notice how he was kept firmly out of the picture during the run-up to the election?
woodfc Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 I hate him more than Brown. He's smarmy and smug and all teeth. Don't like him at all. Blair mark 2 methinks!
bridge too far Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 I hate him more than Brown. He's smarmy and smug and all teeth. Don't like him at all. He's actually a really pleasant man. This is my view, having met him. Your view is based on what exactly?
dune Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Milliband made Osborne look a complete mug on itv yesterday wow, that's an achievement.

revolution saint Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Personally I'd rather Alan Johnson as labour leader. Whatever happens I can't see Gordon being leader in a year's time.
JustMike Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 I liked Blair! Lets have another election minus all the other parties apart from tory and labour and see what happens

dune Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 I liked Blair! Lets have another election minus all the other parties apart from tory and labour and see what happens I didn't like Blair because he was very good and a vote winner. I think the Labour lot think Milliband is a young Tony Blair but he definitely is not.

JustMike Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Alan Sugar for PM ;-) cant believe they arent doing the apprentice because of this hung parliment thing :-(

buctootim Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 He's actually a really pleasant man. This is my view, having met him. Ive met him too. Very sharp and very helpful.
Wade Garrett Posted 7 May, 2010 Author Posted 7 May, 2010 Jaqui Smith would be a vote winner. I hear she's forming a party with Portillo.
LVSaint Posted 7 May, 2010 Posted 7 May, 2010 Ed Balls please. I don't know much about him, but the name kicks arse.
