This article is very interesting and I might well pester my local library to obtain a copy of that book.

On 11th August the Hubble telescope will make its 100,000 orbit of Earth

The Hubble telescope has proven to be quite a success, considering it was thought to be a myopic failure very soon after it was first used. That first trip to the optician really turned around its career.
