IamLeGod Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 Seems an odd decision http://www.electionbetting.com/article.php?articles_id=221
scotty Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 that does seem very strange, unless its an attemp to to influence the outcome:confused: makes no sense to me, but then I'm not a betting man.
SO16_Saint Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 Does seem odd. Is it right that as of midnight the tv and radio etc can't mention the election etc?
GenevaSaint Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 that does seem very strange, unless its an attemp to to influence the outcome:confused: makes no sense to me, but then I'm not a betting man. Not that strange, they've paid out on the conservatives getting the most seats, not winning the election. Even the most loyal Labour supporter would probably agree based on the polls that the Cons will get the most seats. Just said on BBC Con 283 seats, labour 255 based on latest poll.
Barry the Badger Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 Seems odd, I reckon there are still quite a few undecided lefties who are unsure which way to go. The polls aren't always right, although I do expect the tories to get the most votes nationally, will they get the most seats though is the question with our voting system...

GenevaSaint Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 They also said that cameron would be pm OK, I'll go with very odd!
dune Posted 5 May, 2010 Posted 5 May, 2010 It's nailed on that the conservatives will be the largest party, the only question mark is whether they'll do well enough to have a working majority.

Still not convinced, a lot of people undecided between Lib/Lab where I work, a last minute panic about the Tories getting in could be enough to see them all vote tactically. Probably not though :-)
GenevaSaint Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 I'm still undecided, it's 50/50 between two parties. You change your mind like the weather. I thought Cons were dropped and UKIP were in.
dune Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 You change your mind like the weather. I thought Cons were dropped and UKIP were in. UKIP are one side of the coin.
GenevaSaint Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 UKIP are one side of the coin. Con - Heads UKIP - Tails or BNP - Heads UKIP - Tails
dune Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 Con - Heads UKIP - Tails or BNP - Heads UKIP - Tails One of those scenarios is right.
dune Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 Right i tossed a coin and it landed tails, so I decided to go best of 3 and it landed in the coal scuttle. After tossing again it landed tails again so i decided to go best of 5 and it landed tails again. In fact it landed tails 5 times on the trot so on that basis I will be voting UKIP.

Farage in plane crash this morning. Not life threatening though.
scotty Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 our constituency is a straight race between sandra gidley (libdem) and caroline nokes (tory). Ive studied their policies carefully, and will be voting for the one with the largest breasts.

The9 Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 Caroline has bigger tits and would be better in bed. Having gone to the trouble to Google, I can report that whilst the breasticle question is still in doubt, the more election-underpinning "who you would" is almost certainly not.

Tory women are more dirty. FACT. Labour/Liberal women are prudish and into womens lib.
dune Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 Ask yourself this - Harriet Harman or Therasa May? Theresa would get it every time. She's pure filth.
scotty Posted 6 May, 2010 Posted 6 May, 2010 Ask yourself this - Harriet Harman or Therasa May? Theresa would get it every time. She's pure filth. I posted that on another thread and got roundly mocked for it. But I STILL would
