"Sood told the Lynn News that he wanted Britain to return to how it was in the 1970s. He said the Queen should have more respect and suggested bringing back the death penalty." Is that more respect for or from the Queen ? And what bits of the 70's does he want to return to ?

No, he sounds more like a Lib/Dem to me with his woolly thinking. Disgruntled Labour supporters often end up there. Take Han**** in Pompey for example.
