View From The Top Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Driving into college this morning I noticed quite a few cars with England flags flying from the windows. Is this just a Black Country thing or is it the same across the country? Seems a tad early for WC mania to kick in!
Colinjb Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 There's a whole heap of them in Cov too. Seems to be the cool thing to do in the more, erm...... chavy areas.
Hatch Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Saw a car with two massive ones on at the weekend, they looked as big a beach towels. Looked ridiculous.
Saint_Jonny Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Whenever there is a Giants or Town game at the Galpharm every car in the area ends up with 2 England fans on it. Looks well a bit sad.

RedArmy Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Most put them on for St Georges day and are leaving them on until our disappointing quarter final defeat.
benjii Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Most put them on for St Georges day and are leaving them on until our disappointing quarter final defeat. Pelanty shoot-out?
JackFrost Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 Funniest one I saw was when i was walking through Leigh Park at the time of the 2002 world cup with a couple of chavs cheering out the window chanting "England!!!, England!!!" Secured to their cars were 2 flags of Switzerland
dune Posted 4 May, 2010 Posted 4 May, 2010 There's a whole heap of them in Cov too. Seems to be the cool thing to do in the more, erm...... chavy areas. That would explain why I haven't seen any.
Jillyanne Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 Seen loads over the past few days and houses with flags hanging out of the window - bit too soon surely?
StuRomseySaint Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 I just put my England flag up but wasn't sure if it might offend Muslims or not... :-/ So just to make sure I sprayed Allah is a c*nt on it. :-)
bridge too far Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 I just put my England flag up but wasn't sure if it might offend Muslims or not... :-/ So just to make sure I sprayed Allah is a c*nt on it. :-) You were looking for a new name - maybe you should consider 'Allah'.
Dog Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 I have today put my Englund flags on my sierra, I've got 4 ontop of each window, englund sun shades in the back, englund hub caps, england flag over the roof, englund tow bar, englund sun visors, englund tax disk, englund seat covers and englund number plates, and some cheeky asians were shouting 'who are ya, who are ya!' as they pointed their fingers at me and pelted me with naan breads and eggs.
Dog Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 I thought to myself. Isn't it funny how our flags offend you, but our benefits don't!

Allah maybe but TBH SRS has neither the depth or sensitivity to be called a quoint.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 Shall we not turn this into something it shouldn't be? Give the racists ten out of ten though Ponty!
Dog Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 Give the racists ten out of ten though Ponty! I'd give Stu one.
Fan The Flames Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 Funniest one I saw was when i was walking through Leigh Park at the time of the 2002 world cup with a couple of chavs cheering out the window chanting "England!!!, England!!!" Secured to their cars were 2 flags of Switzerland Asda had an England laptop with a Danish flag on it. The flags have been up since St Georges day in South East London.

suewhistle Posted 19 May, 2010 Posted 19 May, 2010 Anyway, I have a St. Georges Cross which came in useful as a theme for my english lessons on 23rd April. It's staying back in the drawer unless we make the semis or final, in which case it'll get an outing down the bar. If we win (hah!) I'll fly it from my fourth floor window!

Bloody hell, how tall is your house?

Dog Posted 20 May, 2010 Posted 20 May, 2010 Give the racists ten out of ten though Ponty! Well you certainly got your wish ESB. Does that make you feel happy? Stu may be a racist, beer drinking, Ben Sherman wearing hooligan, but he is as funny as a clown and this site will not benefit from not having him around. RIP SRS. Geçmiş Olsun.
