Is that before or after rigging the postal vote...? (allegedly)

I am aware of this shocking development.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/election/article-1271457/General-Election-2010-Postal-vote-fraud-amid-fears-bogus-voters-swing-election.html

I was listening to a programme on Radio 4 yesterday and the fraud is focussed primarily on a region of Pakistan (forgive me for not remembering the exact place) where many of the Pakistani immigrants descend from. There is a practice adopted by many that have returned to Pakistan (but still hold British citizenship) to give their voting right to elders back in Britain who choose who the pool of votes should go to.

lol at the sad, desperate, death rattle of New Labour.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/8658694.stm

Mr Brown was on the news this morning saying that "The majority of people in this country don't want a Tory government".

I'm assuming he didn't quite see the irony in that statement given c.72% of the country don't want a Labour government.

I so want Ed Balls to lose his seat. The Conservative candidate up in Morley made a very good speech in the town centre husting. Immigration is a real issue up there and after Balls derision of the BNP the Tory candidate made the point that before 1997 there wasn't a single BNP councillor or MEP. His words were carefully chosen and will appeal to Labour voters.

Thought i'd cheer up the Labour supporters on here with some good news!:)

According to http://generalelection2010.timesonline.co.uk/#/GainsAndLosses Labour are predicted to gain Bethnel Green and Bow at the election.

It's an odd site, that one. The Ladbrokes part says LibDems will hold my seat (Portsmouth South) but the Finktank bit seems to suggest Conservatives will take it.
