scott_saints Posted 24 September, 2008 Share Posted 24 September, 2008 Why does everyone always nod their head when the person speaking makes eye contact with them? p1sses me off, and even more so because I realised that I also do it. I made a conscious effort to stop nodding but STILL couldn't do it. I'd hate to be a manager taking a meeting, with all the fecking Churchill dog wannabe's looking back at me! Robsk II Posted 24 September, 2008 Share Posted 24 September, 2008 I guess it's a normal reactio to acknowledge, to stop you feeling uncomfortable. But yeah, I know what you mean. Particularly when it's not appropriate to nod, not even at the end of a point.

Weston Super Saint Posted 24 September, 2008 Share Posted 24 September, 2008 I spend the whole meeting with my head down concentrating on the paper I'm doodling on. Sometimes I get distracted by the laydee with the particularly large breasts.

Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 24 September, 2008 Share Posted 24 September, 2008 I like to develop random ticks in meetings. The person talking will be waffling on about figures and profit margins when I love to just bang the table lightly and make a loud 'bip' noise whilst flaring my nostrils and looking slightly bosseyed. They f*cking love it
Kadeem Hardison Posted 24 September, 2008 Share Posted 24 September, 2008 I hate it in meetings when the person the other side of the glass can't hear you properly and when the nurse tells you that time is up.

KK the 2nd Posted 25 September, 2008 Share Posted 25 September, 2008 When you haven't got a clue what is going on I sometimes nod sagely and say "I agree".
Master Bates Posted 25 September, 2008 Share Posted 25 September, 2008 When you haven't got a clue what is going on I sometimes nod sagely and say "I agree". I done that once and ended up having to fellate with my Area Manager called Caroline, she was annoying.
