i always like reading your posts chez

you know your stuff. but i cant agree on tyson having good first touch. he will do a job for us at this level

and give us something diffrent if we sign him. but beyond league one i doubt it

heres some of the forest fans views on him http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19095

He's quite a raw player. In the same way that Beattie was. He doesn't look like someone with naturally soft feet. I've seen him play several times. That said, he has attributes we need. He might never be a Premier League star but if he helps us get promoted who cares. I have no doubt that our squad will be stronger with him in it and our chances of promotion will be greater. So sign him up!

regarding his touch, I've hardly seen him myself so was just repeating what my brother in law said. I'm inclined to agree with you. If he had pace and touch he'd be in the Prem. Having said that, I respect my brother in laws opinion. We shall see.

He looks a direct replacement for Waigo. I wonder if Tyson will surprise me be tackling back and pretty well for a skinny lad as Waigo did on many many occasions? Having been played out on the left for Forest perhaps he has the discipline to do so.

that's how I see him. Someone a little like Beckford

How come Esajas didn't play tonight and Carter did, even though we needed a winger with Puncheon and Lallana both out?.

Your itk is just bs I reckon, Tyson was meant to sign 24 hours a go, he missed Carter, he also missed that Butterfield was flying into Switzerland to join the squad (surely he would of heard that if he get's told everything else) and he also missed Dickson and Richardson.

Weren't you also the person making up the Stock rumor in January? about how he told you he was coming on facebook?.

Are you known as 'Rocket Swaine' on 606?, because your a bit like him.

Not much else for ya Jimbo.

Just that Esajas (sp?) has definitely been offered a trial and maybe feature in one of the remaining friendlies.

Other deals like Stock etc have gone quiet.

Right I've learnt how the quote thing works now, you can delete the above post :L

AP tonight

We might not secure them but we'll be pretty close - I'm pretty confident we can start the season with the squad we've got but we do want a couple more additions - maybe three.

Interesting...is that him saying we were close to signing Tyson, but hasn't gone through because it's dependant on Forest securing their targets ?

See now Lambden... You have upset people.

Silly posts, silly rumours, just time wasting to try and get people on your site. The moment your site was up and running you suddenly come across a ITK player...? Come off it!

"the1976forums: @officialsaints

Who is Carter? Rumours flying around in Preston last week it is Darren Carter - who is signing for £1.2 Million, is it true?" about 5 hours ago via web

Asking the Official Saints Twitter (i.e - Jordan Sibley) if we are signing Darren Carter for £1.2m!!!???

Thats easy enough to say... Once your original "ITK" comments have proved to be no good.

Well just wait and see.

So far since I've been PASSING ON this info we've signed 2 players (Dickson was b4 I posted the info).

I admit that nothing was known about Richardson but I was told that Butterfield was out in Switzerland but never posted it on here - he'd signed within hours of me finding out.

Calderon DID break down as did Adu due to them both asking too much in terms of wages.

I was told yesterday that Tyson had signed and that a medical took place yesterday , presumably his.

Pardew's had dozens of targets so I'm not going to get every one right.

Like I've said - I'm just passing on the info.

You got the Freddy Adu story from RocketSwanie! And as for Calderon, I don't recall you being the one to break the news on that!

I may be totally wrong, but I just find you very, very hard to believe. Just seems odd that you were forever on 606 looking for gossip, then you spring up a website and all of a sudden you are ITK? It does seem a touch coincidental.

Just be patient.

Only new thing i've got is that the plans are to unveil Nathan on Saturday vs Reading.

Carter was only introduced to the squad y'day , so nobody really had any idea he was playing v Barnet.

So has Tyson actually signed or is it dependent on other Forest targets signing first, hence AP's comments that he's hopeful of having some things done before the Plymouth game but happy to start with the squad as is, if not?

I'd of thought so. The Johnson deal seems to be draggngs its heals and they haven't progressed with the Wittignham signing either.

It sounds like Becchio's available from Leeds as his contract runs out next summer and they're not offering him anew deal.

We could do a lot worse than get this guy, however I don't think he fits in with AP's plans - not the type of player AP would sign IMO.

Shocked he has dropped that far but then he is getting on abit, he was nothing like as bad as some people seem to make out and was yet another in the long line of fans scapegoats on this forum.

I've got told that the deal was done, but like I have said a million times , I'm just passing on this information- so don't shoot the messenger.

I'll ask the chap that owns the 1976 site to txt the player today and ask him when the deal (if it's still happening) will be announced.

Why would a player that has already signed for Saints be mentioned as being in contention to play for Forest against Lyon tonight in an article on the Forest OS published today?

It says he MAY return to his plans. It also says he MAY not. I think i may be clutching at straws!

If he has signed for another club then it is impossible for him to return to his plans. So the use of the word "may" is pointless in the way you suggest.

Also get him to clarify what "deal was done" actually means. In other words, does it mean he's actually witnessed the player signing the contract or that he's heard about 'things' being agreed verbally. To me, anything but the former cannot be labelled as "deal done".

Thanks
