more 606 stuff

''I know Rocket has posted about Tyson already but im posting this on behalf of Doing The Lambert Walk and the 1976 Saints forum.

We have it on extremely good grounds, that player/players will be signing in the coming days. For a change, I will tell you a bit more about the source, he was in the same room as Mo Gimpel who was preparing the same equipment which the source used for his medical last season. So he claims there are medical/medicals set to take place, and one definitely tomorrow, which he cannot name, but is believed to be Nathan Tyson.

Also, if all goes well, you can expect to see Etienne Esajas signing soon, after completing the 2nd of these medicals.

Pardew is still keen on 3 or 4 new players, to bolster competition, and he wants players to play for their new contracts.

So I hope you have read this and please do reply if possible''

Could be Holmes?

not sure, Pard's has played him in every game pre-season so he's taking a serious look at him by the sounds of things....+ his fitness is improving.

Lee Holmes and Billy Davies were at Derby together so they do know each other.

I can't see Holmes being good enough for a team challenging at the the top of the Championship next season.

If we can get Tyson and at the same time get rid of some of the ****e like Holmes or Gobern we'd be laughing.

Holmes and Gobern are both good LMs on their day, plus they're both still young in terms of professional footballers. Gobern certainly has potential, although it would be a fair swap for Tyson, who is a much more complete player.

I think Pardew rates him to a certain extent but if Tyson joins Holmes would probably be even less likely to get a look-in as Tyson would offer the alternative in style to Lallana on the left. I can't figure out who else it would be... can't see Forest being too interested in one of our nippers - they wouldn't get into a good Championship team - I can't think they'd be interested in any of our donkeys either. Whoever it is would be valued at around £300k.

I'm not sure how they could be in financial trouble. ................................. They had six strikers last year and Billy Davis wanted them all.

Could be the answer as to why they are in trouble right there! :)

Anyone know anything about Etienne Esajas?

''Owl in peace

Having had Esajas with us the last 3 years i feel right to comment on him. He is extremely inconsistant, can cross well when he can be bothered, he has a good shot and can do free kicks a bit like C.Ronaldo, but bar that he is rubbish. He is incredibly lazy, he won't help defensively (when you don't have the ball its like playing with 10 men) and when it doesn't go his way, he pulls a big strop.

Steer clear, although if you sign him, he will inevitably score against us, which I'm sure would help you''

Agreed, but I can't see us shifting any of our players who are + £500k for Tyson!

Hmm, that plus the fact Charlton didn't want him after a 2 week trial suggest he might not be the greatest signing, but if Pardew and his team feel he can bring something to our team then I believe them.

a vid on tyson -

a potential attack comprising of Lambo, Tyson, Lallana and Puncheon is frightening at championship level, let alone L1....and we would still have Barnard ,Connolly & oxo in reserve.

Tyson is a fans favourite at Forest. They love him. He might not be the most talented player in the world, but he is rapid and tries very hard. Would be a cracking addition to the squad.

Or Tyson as a wide player?

Davis

Butterfield Fonte Jaidi Dickson

Puncheon Hammond Scheiderlin Tyson

Lallana

Lambert

With the team able to switch to 4-4-2 when needed (with Vassell).

Tyson is reportedly unhappy at Forest because he's being played out of position on the left wing. Can't see him dropping down a division to play in the same position.

Fair enough didn't know that.

Playing for a club with ambition and the vision to achieve something within the timeframe of any contract I may potentially sign would be great in terms of achieving something that my family can be proud of. Making good use of my hunger to get back into action is paramount.

Interesting.

Just had a thought! Maybe Barnard is the player being sent to Forest' date=' in return for Tyson, and we're going to sign Vassell too. Choosing 4 from Vassell, Tyson, Connolly and Lambert wouldn't be too bad...[/quote']

More chance of it being Kelvin Davis, methinks. I couldn't see Barnard getting a look in ahead of Earnshaw, Blackstock etc.

That bit caught my eye too... I know just the club!

Surprising how many fans on this forum wouldn't like it if we signed Vassell...yet on that sky sports website there is Prem fans and NPC fans saying they would be chuffed if they signed him ?!

I think he could 'do a job' but i dont think he'd set the world alight...happy for him to prove me wrong though !

They have Lee Camp so are certainly not looking for a No 1 keeper. If they are looking at anyone it would be Lambert.
