Barca v Inter.

What do you reckon? I've got a good feeling Inter will just edge it, have got a tenner on them at 11/2 thanks to Bet365.

Depends if Inter are on top of their game, I think a 2-0 win for Barcelona is very realistic, which would be enough to take them through

2-1 to Barca. The home advantage will help Barca, but ultimately I think that Mourinho will set his side out on full 'stifle' mode and frustrate them for 90 minutes. If Inter get their man-marking right like they did in the first leg then I could even see them winning again, but Barca are a very tough team to beat at the Nou Camp, so it could turn out to be a very interesting (or very boring) game.

Busquets, Ibrahimovic and Eto'o to score.

I don't understand, Barca have a supremely talanted squad but resort to this. Can't just blame them though as it happens everywhere now.

Commentators made a good point of how the game has become so cynical now.

Indeed, one reason why my love of football is no longer what it was. Can't be bothered to watch most live games but this one was/is intriguing.

That goal should've stood, that was a textbook case of ball-to-hand.

However, I am happy that Inter are through, 38 years since their last final, last won it in 1965!

I don't think Barca have got the best strength in depth in their squad to cope without Iniesta, Henry and Ibrahimovic etc.

The likes of Busquets, Maxwell and Jeffren are not Champions League quality imo.

That was a master-class in defending a lead from Inter. Only one shot on goal in the entire match FFS. However, as soon as the red card was given I wanted Inter to win it.

My prediction for the final: Bayern to win 3-1 with a brace from Olic and one from Robben.

Couldn't believe even with seconds left Barca were still looking to take short corners, brainless !!

No, they didn't play well. But I don't know if I can sit through another 90 minutes of watching Inter Milan's "parked bus".

To be fair it was the best chance they had especially after going down to 10 men. But I think it will be a boring final now. Not sure I'll watch it either, probably in the background while on here !

Xavi passed the ball 37 times more than the whole Inter team put together.

Zlatan is totally useless and should have been on the bench and brought on as a plan B give them a bit of an aerial option.

Hmmmmmm.....

21 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions this season (to 24th April 2010).

I have watched him play a lot for Barcelona and it's the opinion I have formed. I'm not saying you haven't watched him for Barca but stats don't always tell the whole story and they don't in this case. While he was injured and Messi played through the middle they looked far more dangerous.

56million and Eto'o is one of the worst transfers in a long time, Ibrahimovic just doesn't suit their style of play IMO.

Well i can remember at least 3, messi's shot into the corner that produced a good save first half, messis daisy cutter that was hit down the middle 2nd half, the goal...

Agree with that. Have watched Barca a lot this season, and they just aren't the same when Ibra is playing. A great striker, but not a great team player.

Inter deserved to go througjh for their masterclass in defending, but it was painful to watch. Barca missed Iniesta but got sucked into José's mind games. The constant stop/start ruined the game as a pectacle, as did the feigning injuries and diving (and despite what the commentators said, it isn't just a Latin thing, Owen & Gerrard are amongst many British players who do it)

Ibrahimovic is the reason Barca haven't looked as invincible as last season, IMO.

When they had Eto'o playing through the middle, they were able to press the opposition much higher up the pitch, forcing them into giving the ball away. Ibrahimovic doesn't have anywhere near the same level of workrate, so the opposition can bypass the Barca frontline pretty easily.

Don't get me wrong, Ibrahimovic is a quality player, but Barca have had to adapt their playing style to accommodate him, and it's made them much more vulnerable defensively.

Ibrahimovic was Inters best defender last night, he broke up more Barca attacks than any Inter defender did.

I wont bother watching the final either, i think the my fence is due for creosoting that night.

Final is on a Saturday!

In the first leg Valdes covered more ground than Ibrahimovic!

If I was in charge of Barca I'd try and tempt the Glazers into doing a cash + Zlatan deal for Rooney. He would be perfect for their style of play.

Also worth noting that Inter sell Zlatan and suddenly they aren't a massive team full of bottlers.
