Saint in Paradise Posted 27 April, 2010 Posted 27 April, 2010 It's no good I have to ask, who the hell are VT :smt102 I think they are "Vosper Thornycroft" ?
chrisobee Posted 27 April, 2010 Posted 27 April, 2010 I think they are "Vosper Thornycroft" ? Thanks, I would never have known that now, maybe 30 years ago when I lived in Southampton. It rings a vague bell !
Hatch Posted 27 April, 2010 Author Posted 27 April, 2010 Windsor Champions!! Just, floodlights failed at half time, so there was a 20 min or so delay to second half. To be honest, I don't think VT tried that hard to score. As soon as WIndsor went 1 up it was game over. Kevin Gibbons played for VT, and he certainly keeps the local pie shop in business.
bungle Posted 27 April, 2010 Posted 27 April, 2010 In non-league football news I am off to Bath City v Chelmsford tonight in Blue Sq South play-off semi-final 1st leg.
krissyboy31 Posted 27 April, 2010 Posted 27 April, 2010 Thanks, I would never have known that now, maybe 30 years ago when I lived in Southampton. It rings a vague bell ! http://vtfc.footballclubwebsite.co.uk/history/default.aspx
Rory Posted 27 April, 2010 Posted 27 April, 2010 As a sports reporter living and working in Bridgwater, I follow Bridgwater Town and have been to a fair few games this season. They have a cracking squad and a manager who is capable of working at a much higher level. I will be fully rooting them on at Fairfax Park tomorrow night against Vospers!!
Rory Posted 28 April, 2010 Posted 28 April, 2010 Totton losing 2-0 at home to Cirencester, Bridgwater 1-0 against VTFC at the moment.
saint_stevo Posted 28 April, 2010 Posted 28 April, 2010 Half Times- Totton 1 Cirencester 2; Bridgwater 2 VT 0
Rut Posted 28 April, 2010 Posted 28 April, 2010 For anyone wanting to follow the Totton (or any other non-league team) then this is a great live videprinter: http://nln24.com/vidiprinter/live Totton equalised straight after half time. Currently 2-2. Come on you mighty Stags!!!
krissyboy31 Posted 28 April, 2010 Posted 28 April, 2010 Looks like it's all over for VT, 3-0 down now!
