Johnny Bognor Posted 21 April, 2010 Share Posted 21 April, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/8634952.stm Mr Cameron, who has been followed by a Daily Mirror reporter dressed as a chicken, joked: "Now I know which came first - the chicken not the egg." Perhaps he is human afterall

ecuk268 Posted 22 April, 2010 Share Posted 22 April, 2010 I remember when the PR men tried to give Maggie Thatcher a sense of humour. She paraphrased the Monty Python "dead parrot" phrases but obviously had no idea about why it was funny.
treggs23 Posted 22 April, 2010 Share Posted 22 April, 2010 Cameron could have got himself an extra vote right here if he'd gone Prescott on that guy...
buctootim Posted 22 April, 2010 Share Posted 22 April, 2010 Cameron could have got himself an extra vote right here if he'd gone Prescott on that guy... Prescott gained cred because the egg thrower was bigger and younger than him. Not sure Cameron ****ting a 16 year old would have the same effect tbh. Not sure Cameron ****ting a 16 year old would have the same effect tbh. No he didn't Prescott is and has always been a 'buffoonish' character in the same vein as Boris Johnson. If Prescott got any 'cred' it was because it was funny seeing a buffoonish politician punching someone in the face under the watchful eyes of millions of people. Nothing to do with the egg thrower being bigger and younger than him, Prescott's been a highly skilled boxer ever since he got trained in the Merchant Navy. Cameron isn't a buffoon, he's a Conservative PR man. He's far more likely to either 'laugh it off' or 'rise above that level"
Lord Duckhunter Posted 22 April, 2010 Share Posted 22 April, 2010 When William Hague was asked to comment on Prescott's punch at the time , he replied " I try not to punch the voters",
