Thedelldays Posted 21 April, 2010 Posted 21 April, 2010 Kelvin? MLT? TBH though I agree with you players will go if something better comes along. Nothing we can do about it, unless our chairman wants to play hardball with a player ie "play for us or wait out the rest of your contract on the bench" but in reality we'll take the money and buy someone else. you've agreed with me a few times today...bet you feel dirty ;-)
doddisalegend Posted 21 April, 2010 Posted 21 April, 2010 you've agreed with me a few times today...bet you feel dirty ;-) Horrible I've been in the shower scrubbing with bleech for hours just can't get that clean feeling back;)
DT Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 how much have they improved since they signed then? Fonte was always class. Lambert I'm not sure about - he says he has under Wilkins et al, but who knows. Why?
stu0x Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 Fonte was always class. Lambert I'm not sure about - he says he has under Wilkins et al, but who knows. Why? he's a stone lighter for a start, and I don't think he did it by going on Weight Watchers
Barry the Badger Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 It is so nice to see good players come here and still improve, rather than the past few years when they came here and gradually got worse and worse.

bender Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 Fonte is a fool if he expected promotion. We were miles off the play offs when he came. Surely anyone coming into the club would have seen the play offs as a bonus.
NickG Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 I would think Lambert, Fonte and Puncheon are some of the most likely to still be here next season
Bailey Posted 22 April, 2010 Posted 22 April, 2010 I think the likes of Lambert, Fonte and Puncheon will all be here at the start of next season. They would have joined knowing full well that promotion this season was a big ask, and to be prepared that if we fell short of our target, another season in League One would beckon. Still, if we are unsuccessful in our bid to gain promotion next term, then it will be a different scenario altogether, and I would be surprised to see Pards at the helm if we missed out again.
