saintkiptanui Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Agreed, James and Wotton both out, 2 new midfielders and a new right back and next season we can break some records. Cracking season.
Rob the Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Reckon Schneiderlin will be off in the summer. Might need 2 centre midfields (1 as cover)
dune Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 As the seasons now over I think we should parade the JPT at the Carlise game.
benjii Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Yep, those are the only areas where we don't have much depth at the moment (although if Murty and Thomas were fit they would be fine at RB). Great season to be currently 5th in the table (if 10 pts not discounted) and having won a cup, given the need for a complete rebuild of the entire playing operations at the start of the season.
gonzo Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 This season has been above expectations without a doubt. A cup win and a decent effort in the league. At the start of the season, I didn't think we'd get as close as we have to the playoffs, so I'm delighted with how things have gone this season. So well done to AP and the team - let's hope we can keep the squad together as they have gelled nicely and on their day look awesome. We can have a really good go at making the top 2 next season.
ericofarabia Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 As the seasons now over I think we should parade the JPT at the Carlise game. Fat Lady is only warming up at the moment ..... Huddersfield have a major blip losing the next 2 games ... we win our 2 and then last day of the season ..... 93rd minute Huddersfield concede to draw 1-1 and the Southend Love in continues as Paterson gets the ball on the halfway line, dummies everybody and scores with a stunning shot for the best Own Goal EVER ... actually maybe just a scrambled rebound off Lambo's arse from 1 yard would be better and we are in the play offs (Remind Colchester to read the script as well please )
B Rabbit Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Let's get behind the team ... next sentence.....WOTTON AND JAMES OUT... Brilliant.

benjii Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 So kind of, "Let's get behing the team, with them not in it!" TBH, I don't think Pards needs telling that we need cover/competition for Schneiderlin and Hammond and that we don't really have it at the mo.
Mr Saints Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Really enjoyable season. Can't wait for the next one.
Avenue Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Author Posted 20 April, 2010 (edited) Let's get behind the team ... next sentence.....WOTTON AND JAMES OUT... Brilliant. constructive analysis means, you set views on an efficient playing staff going forward, or would u like to buy players and never sell any? not sure every1 would agree with a squad of 80... "brilliant " was it? now go wipe the spunk off the tip of your little *****.. Edited 20 April, 2010 by Avenue Saint

Amesbury Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 great season but what ****ed me off the evening (in addition to the score) was the low crowd. 50,000 to Wembley, 18366 tonight what a bunch on plastics who did not go
