Thedelldays Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 pards very VERY arsy in the post match reaction
Cascadia Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 HAHA!!!! Pardew finally getting fu ck ed off with the idiot interviewer!!
benjii Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 What's the point in battering teams 5-0, 5-1, 5-1 if you can't win matches against Oldham, Wycombe etc. FFS Saints. I agree, we should never win by a large margin as it makes bad results harder to take. I want my mum.
doddisalegend Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 pards is getting a bit of a bashing with the reactions on the radio Hardly a surprise when we win he's a hero when we lose he's the target for peoples frustration. The people complaining tonight will be the same ones praising him last saturday. Is always the way with football fans.
saintkiptanui Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 WTF ? Before you spunk in your pants I expect James got injured, you really are a c8nt.
latter day saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Pardew not happy when asked about subbing Lloyd ! no need to be narky there
saint lard Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 AP a tad grumpy with the interviewer over the question of putting james on then takeing him off.
alpine_saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Pardew: "Asking me about the James substitution is not what you should be asking me tonight".... Indeed. Perish the though that the interviewer infer you lost your head at a critical point of the season...
EBS1980 Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Pardew didn't take kindly to why he brought James on then took him off then got the arse with the last question! haha Least we get to defend our JPT now
Plumstead_Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 ooooooooh! AP just got arsey when asked why james was brought on then taken off.
Under Weststand Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Pardew not happy with the ref tonight, definite penalty happy with the performance of the team tonight. Not happy with the question about James & had a go about it.

Is always the way with football fans. that is how football goes..it has been like that for over 100 years im surprised people still dont get it
benjii Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Indeed. Perish the though that the interviewer infer you lost your head at a critical point of the season... I don't think it was a mad substitution. Taking off Wotton and putting on a far better passer. Sounds alright to me.
alpine_saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Before you spunk in your pants I expect James got injured, you really are a c8nt. Not suggested by the way he reacted to the question...
Thedelldays Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Pardew not happy with the ref tonight, definite penalty happy with the performance of the team tonight. Not happy with the question about James & had a go about it. to be fair, it was a fair question
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 What's the point in battering teams 5-0, 5-1, 5-1 if you can't win matches against Oldham, Wycombe etc. FFS Saints. Yes, cos it's only Saints that do this. In the World. Because we are the one team that cannot take advantage of poorer teams.
trousers Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Before you spunk in your pants I expect James got injured, you really are a c8nt. If it was that simple an explanation why did Pardew not just say that rather than lay into the interviewer for asking a 'negative' question? Pardew said he subbed James because we needed to get another forward on.
EBS1980 Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I guess he brought James on at half time to try and do a better job than Wotton. Then when the goal didn't come we took off the holding defender to play an attacking player. In hindsight a wasted sub but if James would have scored or set up a goal nobody would be questioning it.
Mr Saints Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Unlucky fellas. Didn't mind you lot until a load of trolls invaded our board banging on about how great you are and how **** we are etc. Still, I'm sure that was just a minority 3 points for us at Stockport and it's goodnight vienna for you lot You'll walk it next year though EIEIEI OH UP THE FOOTBALL ELAGUE WE GO :smt039 Cheers mate See you next season
Legod Third Coming Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I'm pleased to see he's as passionate about it as I am.
AussieDog Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 looking at the attendance it seems as if a large majority of Saints fans didn't think it was possible anyway. Well done for the 18K who did turn up.....shame on the missing thousands who took the glory day at Wembley but couldn't be bothered to cheer them on when they needed it most (I think I have a valid excuse for missing the game). Disappointed we can't find a creative spark for that one moment of magic that would get us a goal. Overall mark for the season though has to be 8 out of 10.....just wishing we could have kept the dream alive until the last game of the season.
benjii Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 that is how football goes..it has been like that for over 100 years im surprised people still dont get it I think people get it, they just wish some people would grow a pair and not be whining little fannies.
alpine_saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I guess he brought James on at half time to try and do a better job than Wotton. Then when the goal didn't come we took off the holding defender to play an attacking player. In hindsight a wasted sub but if James would have scored or set up a goal nobody would be questioning it. But he didnt.......

Pardew said he subbed James because we needed to get another forward on. We've done everything bar score tonight and you get some c*nts still moaning. Unbelieveable.

saintkiptanui Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Not suggested by the way he reacted to the question...I really shouldn't bite, I know you are a wum as does everyone else.
saintsmike25 Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 It's often common when managers are frustrated and a result doesn't go there way that Journalists are just a major annoyance who get the wrath of a seething manager. Don't look too much into it, we battered Oldham and didn't win. Sometimes teams can get those back to the walls defensive displays away from home. Afterall when we were in the premiership how often did we do it away?
Verbal Kint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Sadly, who else is there than Wotton? It will be sorted in June for sure. Use some imagination. It doesn't take a genius to work out what Oldham were going todo tonight. Play either Puncheon or Lallana in the middle and Antonio/Papa out wide. Or, if he insists on playing long ball, he might as well play 3 up front from the start and then he has another striker to latch onto any lambert flicks etc. But seriously, what did anyone expect from a team with Wotton and Hammond in midfield apart from dull, unimaginative football?
saintkiptanui Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 but he never.. anyway, it was a fair question2 weeks ago you go to a game and wet yourself telling everyone how good we are and now you are back on the c*nt bandwagon, we have so many tw*tish supporters.
Thedelldays Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 2 weeks ago you go to a game and wet yourself telling everyone how good we are and now you are back on the c*nt bandwagon, we have so many tw*tish supporters. how am i you tramp..?
Cascadia Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 Interviewer: 'so, try and do well in our remaining games and end the season on a high?' Pardew: (annoyed): 'what do you think?' Interviewer: 'uh.. Thanks.' Pardew's a legend.
ericofarabia Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I'm pleased to see he's as passionate about it as I am. He WAS a bit p!ssed off with the James sub question, but the follow up question was a bit poor to say the least..... the guy got off lightly ... WGS would have decked him I reckon
alpine_saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 2 weeks ago you go to a game and wet yourself telling everyone how good we are and now you are back on the c*nt bandwagon, we have so many tw*tish supporters. I know you must be p*ssed off this evening, like the rest of us, but is there any need for all the abuse ?
Cascadia Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I'm pleased to see he's as passionate about it as I am. Exactly.

saintkiptanui Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 how am i you tramp..? You love having a dig, why??? we tried but it wasn't to be.

Thedelldays Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 You love having a dig, why??? we tried but it wasn't to be. how am I..I thought we (sounded) played really well and just unlucky tonight...so many chances..on another night we would have had 5 go in
trousers Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 shame on the missing thousands who took the glory day at Wembley but couldn't be bothered to cheer them on when they needed it most Good evening. Derren Brown I assume?
dune Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I know you must be p*ssed off this evening, like the rest of us, but is there any need for all the abuse ? You have a point. Time to take a chill pill everyone. It was always odds against we'd do it and at least with it ending now we won't be even more gutted about it ending later.
teamsaint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 sometimes in football even good teams can't beat bad teams. Thats what makes it fun. If you are good enough over a season you will get your rewards- for every last minute winner there is a dodgy penalty decision. We were in a close to impossible position 10 games in.Would have been nice to take it into the last game- which mathematically we still could. Just really hope next season is our last in L1.
Kevo7 Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 We have been good enough for a top 6 place. You're forgetting the extra 10 points
ericofarabia Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 This time last year .. clean sheet, another point .... we'd have been ecstatic
so22saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 We didn't lose, not reaching the playoffs is a ****er but who thought we would after 10 games - half the *****s on here thought we were going down. The turn around since then is 2nd place form - if we strengthen in the summer and keep AP we will win this League next season and be back in the Prem in 5 years which *was* the plan. I'm not a ****ing happy clapper either - just a realist
Avenue Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 You love having a dig, why??? we tried but it wasn't to be. wise words kip

John B Posted 20 April, 2010 Posted 20 April, 2010 I don't think it was a mad substitution. Taking off Wotton and putting on a far better passer. Sounds alright to me. So why was James not playing from the start most of us thought Wotton would be of little use.
