I wholeheartedly agree. Yesterday I started a policy of responding to any e-mail I receive at work with "Sent from my Iphone" with "Sent from my COMPAQ nc6400 laptop PC".

Actually, unless it varies by person, device or whatever, the signature is switched off by default, so it's more a case of having chosen to turn it on than not thought to turn it off.
