So how do we rate Puncheon?

He has had some really good games and a few poor ones, however even in the poor games such as Orient there has been end product, a crossfield pass for Lallana to cut in and score, a cross to Lambert to head back across for Lallana to finish.

He is one of the most naturally two footed players around and can get to the byeline on either side, plus the ability to cut in and shoot with the other foot. At this level he does have a tendency to try to beat too many whilst missing the chance to pass and get a return. I like him.

Very well summed up.....Very accurate and for me describes a very good player and only good for Saints future...:)

I'm just disappointed we give him an exclusive pass to the first team, I felt that after the JPT final Antonio shoud have stayed in the team and reminded Puncheon that if he wants a first team place he's going to have to prove he deserves it like everyone else. I felt we could've taken all the points at Brighton, especially off the back of a cup win.

Antonio started at Brighton. He's started every match apart from Orient at home since the final.

Pucnheon is one of our best players and so it would be mad not to start him IMO.

Puncheon and Antonio are both starting in games at the moment.
