ladysaint Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 13th December 97 3rd April 2004 13th April 2010 I am very lucky to say I was.
CWD Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 excuse my ignorance, but can you explain what this is?
Big_Bald_Si Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 I'm intrigued to know what this was - but at a guess, the last 3 times Saints have won by 4 away from home?
ladysaint Posted 14 April, 2010 Author Posted 14 April, 2010 Benali and Claus? Of course you are correct.
RonManager Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Yes, there's nothing like starting a thread with a clear and understandable title. ....and that was nothing like starting a thread with a clear etc etc etc...
Glasgow_Saint Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Woman should not be allowed to start threads
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Yes agree but I knew what I meant. I knew what you meant straight away!
scott_saints Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Well I thought it was obvious what the title was referring to anyway. No, though. Not for any
Arizona Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 What about the other hattrick? 27/02/10 2/3/10 13/4/10 Only the first one for me.
Appy Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 What about the other hattrick? 27/02/10 2/3/10 13/4/10 Only the first one for me. All 3 lovely.
ladysaint Posted 14 April, 2010 Author Posted 14 April, 2010 All the 5's - Yes I was - its been a great season for me.
Pancake Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Ever get the feeling the Ladysaint was at the game last night?
Arizona Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 All 3 lovely. I should have but fate transpired against me. I had to work on a day off for the Huddersfield game. I live in Bristol, but last night I was visiting rellies in Lincolnshire.
ladysaint Posted 14 April, 2010 Author Posted 14 April, 2010 LOL I am just so excited that Morgan scored think I have been driving everyone mad this season about him as think he is the best I have seen in a Saints shirt since MLT, and to be there when he scored has just made the season for me.
Scudamore Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Am i the only one that thinks that Morgan scoring his first goal in 70 odd appearances is not really comparable to the other two?
RonManager Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Am i the only one that thinks that Morgan scoring his first goal in 70 odd appearances is not really comparable to the other two? So far - but things may now change.
ladysaint Posted 14 April, 2010 Author Posted 14 April, 2010 Am i the only one that thinks that Morgan scoring his first goal in 70 odd appearances is not really comparable to the other two? But wasnt it his first ever professional league goal?
Scudamore Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 So far - but things may now change. Fingers crossed
RonManager Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Fingers crossed We're all rootin' fo ya, son. Me, Billy the shoe-shine kid, Lassie, all the kids at the orphanage....
Scudamore Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 But wasnt it his first ever professional league goal? Still not that fussed. A little research has led me to see Benali took nine years to score a goal (and what a goal) and that Claus took seven years. I'm sure you see my point? Although players are fast tracked to "legend" status these days so this should come as little surprise. We'll be demanding a testimonial for him when he leaves at the end of the season next.
Scudamore Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 We're all rootin' fo ya, son. Me, Billy the shoe-shine kid, Lassie, all the kids at the orphanage.... Spiderman is a legend. I woz wrong. Sorry everyone.

No I agree to a certain extent but they were both defenders, MS isnt.
krissyboy31 Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 I think we're getting carried away here with a comparison to Benali and Lundekvam. Morgan is what? 20 years old? and has made 70-odd senior appearances. The others were seasoned pros, both with several hundred appearances behind them, when they eventually scored their first Saints goal. Morgan as a midfielder, should be scoring more goals but now he's got the monkey off his back, I fully expect him to go on and chip in with his fair share, from here on in.
Scudamore Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 No I agree to a certain extent but they were both defenders, MS isnt. But Benali was like a Roberto Carlos or Dani Alves type what with all his bombing forward to do overlapping runs! Amazing he didn't score more really. He certainly had the trickery. I've made my point by the way. I'll not be swayed. So i'll leave it at that before ruining your thread...if i haven't already.
Kingsland Red Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 I was not there last night but as Meatloaf himself stated - Two out of three aint bad !
Badger Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 I didn't realise Oz was still doing cartoons at this time. Didn't he characterise the old Saint figure in cassock carrying a staff, in the 50's or 60's ?
La BoIS Saint Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 LOL I am just so excited that Morgan scored think I have been driving everyone mad this season about him as think he is the best I have seen in a Saints shirt since MLT, and to be there when he scored has just made the season for me. Why not just ask him if he wants a ****? You can change your name to Cougar Saint!
bender Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 FFS, Benali and Claus were at the club years before scoring,
