dune Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 I notice it's performing to it's usual high standard.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 It isn't Saints player, it is your connection. I've never had it cut out for an away game.
Saint_clark Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 It isn't Saints player, it is your connection. I've never had it cut out for an away game. Any suggestions to make our connections better then?
Saint_clark Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 LOL @ them playing the Saints are coming over an interview.
RobM Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 It's not his connection, it's SaintsPlayer. Mine isn't working too, yet somehow I can magically use other websites...
Matthew Le God Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 It's not his connection, it's SaintsPlayer. Mine isn't working too, yet somehow I can magically use other websites... Then why have I listened to it uninterrupted for the last 35 minutes then? If some have no problems, then its your connection.
dune Posted 13 April, 2010 Author Posted 13 April, 2010 It's working, and you think yeah this fine, then it cuts out for about 10 seconds. It's doing it now.
jamesfp1 Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 I get over 16mb and have never lost connection to my isp (BE Unlimited) in 6 months of being with them, but saints player still cuts out regularly. I reckon its something to do with CPU speed.
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 it's probably my fault .... just logged in and am taking up all the bandwidth
RobM Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Then why have I listened to it uninterrupted for the last 35 minutes then? Conclusion - its your connection or another issue. If it works for some but not others and by others it's more than one, it's not an individual connection problem. Especially since the problem is the same as we experience very often. Conclusion - You're an arrogant arse and you're wrong

Toadhall Saint Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Doing my f*cking swede in at the mo. First time its ****ed up for me and its ****ing annoying!
ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 First time its ****ed up for me and its ****ing annoying! Mines doing fine so far ... but only logged in 10 mins ago.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Those people having problems have you tried the BBC Radio Bristol commentary?

emerson massey Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 i cant get the thing to work - i am logged in but still get the message "please login to listen to commentary" aaaargh Anyone have any ideas? Errrrm, rather embarrasingly my subscription is no longer active. Ahem......
RobM Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 I've given up and I'm listening to BBC Radio Bristol via the iPlayer. Tried four browsers on two computers and two connections (granted one was a mobile 3G modem) and it was crap on both.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Mine is fine so far today. Was cutting out on Saturday though. Clearly there are several things at play here. some people are having connection problems which might be cookies, browser, broadband connection etc. Other times almost all users are having problems and it must be down to the Saint Player link to Solent, because the opposition commentary works fine. Like I said, so far tonight it seems to be ok for most of us, so if you're having problems, try restarting, clearing cookies, using another browser, updating flash etc.
Saint ReN Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Mine wont even fire up! 'Error #15. network error' And guess what...everything else is working fine. Even BBC i player!...2 of them at the same time!!! but not a radio stream....that would be asking too much...ZZZZZzzzzUUUUZzzzz

ericofarabia Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Not working here either... And where might that be Although Guided Missile blames us overseas "Saints Fans" of using our log on names or location as badges .... sometimes it helps
SaintBobby Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Best complaint is to the BBC - it's basically their coverage. Having to pay an extra £30 over and above my licence fee for this appalling service f u c k s me off too. Welcome to the world of state broadcasting.
patred44 Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 I missed the first 20 mins due to error12.... Finally got it by restoring my computer back a couple of days At halftime, I decided to download 5 windows updates that were screaming at me.. FATAL.. Had to restore back again, missed a further 25 mins of the second half as a result. Conclusion Windows update were at fault, or you would think so! It's the first time in 6 months I've had problems with Saintsplayer, except the odd splutter or two.
Goalie66 Posted 14 April, 2010 Posted 14 April, 2010 Agree I had the same problems last night. In all probability their streaming software does not cut it.Hence the delays.
patred44 Posted 15 April, 2010 Posted 15 April, 2010 I sent in a complaint about the service.. all I got was this standard reply.. Hi Patrick, Thank you for your email. We are aware of the interruptions to the commentary of the last fixture. This is being investigated to ensure that this gets fixed for the forthcoming fixtures. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. Best regards Customer Services WE WAIT WITH BATED BREATH:confused:
the saint in winchester Posted 16 April, 2010 Posted 16 April, 2010 I can't even get it play back highlights. I expected to be prompted for my sign on and password ONCE but it is stuck in a loop - sign in (it welcomes me), I click the content, it prompts for sign in, I sign in, I click the content, it prompts for sign in ..... aaarrgggghhhh
jinglesaints Posted 16 April, 2010 Posted 16 April, 2010 I can't even get it play back highlights. I expected to be prompted for my sign on and password ONCE but it is stuck in a loop - sign in (it welcomes me), I click the content, it prompts for sign in, I sign in, I click the content, it prompts for sign in ..... aaarrgggghhhh I have this problem aswell, but if you sign in to Saintsplayer once, then click on the highlights link and wait a couple of seconds the video should start automatically playing. If you click play on the video you get prompted to sign in again even though you just already have. Anybody else having problems trying to watch Pardew's preview for Yeovil? Get about 15 seconds in, then it freezes and makes a noise! Not the first time this has happened on when of the videos. Emailed them but doubt i will get anywhere! For £3.99 a month i would expect a much better service!!
