Jillyanne Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Anyone got any tips and no, I haven't stabbed/killed/harmed my Husband.
Jillyanne Posted 12 April, 2010 Author Posted 12 April, 2010 The Lounge people. Serious answers please.
hamster Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Jilly, have you tried Soda Crystals yet, very cheap and very effective a t most stain removal. Failing that, and if you can bear the smell for a couple of days, then white vinegar is tops. Vinegar fact 1: Vinegar offers effective relief from BOTH dhiarrhoea AND constipation. (Just a mouthful and hey presto).

bridge too far Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Jilly hun - I googled it to see if I could find some advice for you but there's so many entries! Google it and see - seems to be bicarb is the most popular answer. xx
Draino76 Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Why don't you slice a couple of animals throats over it?
Dog Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Jill darling, try soaking the stain with cold water and rub rock salt into the blood stain, then rinse the salt out. I have lots of experience regarding blood. Oh, and next time you're getting pussy pumped when the big red rooster is a crowing, lay a old bath towel down first.

Al de Man Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Aren't you supposed to wash it out with white blood cells or plasma?
SuperMikey Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 My post got deleted My mate works at a butchers, and he also uses vinegar to get the blood off his clothes and hands, so it ought to work on your sofa. HTH
Arizona Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 What will happen if you take it if you have neither? You will get both.
bridge too far Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 You will get both. At the same time? HOw does that work?
hamster Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 What will happen if you take it if you have neither? You will get both. Vinegar has many health giving properties, many people drink it daily to stave off illnesses. Vinegar is my second favourite Super Food, tomatoe ketchup being number One (contains vinegar) as it tastes of tomatoes. There is a great little book available (101 uses of Vinegar) which I recommend people read from cover to cover.
Matthew Le God Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Would an internet thread count as evidence in a court of law?
Arizona Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 At the same time? HOw does that work? Every heard of Tubgirl? If not, please don't Google it. Would an internet thread count as evidence in a court of law? Well the SNP guy got fired for slagging people off on twitter.
hamster Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Jaffa cakes WILL NOT remove ANY stains in ANY material. FACT Whereas ketchup and vinegar will. FACT Jilly, come on lass, from whence did the blood come?

PMSL :-) you do have a way with words dog
Whitey Grandad Posted 12 April, 2010 Posted 12 April, 2010 Would an internet thread count as evidence in a court of law? Oh yes. And be careful what you Google, especially '100 ways to get rid of a dead body' or 'how to cheat at insurance fraud'. Internet searches histories have been used as evidence of intent.
Wiltshire Saint Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Is it that old sh*tty blue sofa? Just get rid of it and buy a new one. Alternatively, try washing it.

I think people were drinking wine for health reasons before they ever got around to vinegar. It's your choice though. I'd prefer a nice glass of wine. Edited 13 April, 2010 by ART
ART Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 I've always used salt to soften up dried blood on material, clothes etc. Sprinkle on the stain, and pour water onto it. Better is in you can soak the area in salty water. Then use some mild detergent once the stain pales.
Master Bates Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 I'm an expert at dealing with dried homosapien blood, but as this is being used in a court of law as evidence then I won't tell you. Vinegar is fantastic, especially when it has chillies in it. Spiced up pickling vinegar 2nd.

tpbury Posted 13 April, 2010 Posted 13 April, 2010 Surely Dog should be banned (again). I imagine him to be a pitbull chihuahua cross.
