Seaford Saint Posted 12 April, 2010 Share Posted 12 April, 2010 Tony Benn, I have read his diaries, I took my daughter to listen to what he had to say last year. She was embarrased when she went in......but after watching him take questions from anyone, she changed her mind and was impressed. In a nutshell he reckons each generation has to fight for freedom otherwise you lose it. Iraq Afghanistan etc, erosion of civil liberties, Trident, ID cards etc I have always wanted my kids to think for themselves - they do!!!! (Yes I know he's not an MP) For what its worth I quite fancy a hung Parliament where we could potentially end up with the best and most able from each party being part of the government
