Heres the rules.

Everyone gets a fictional £100 to bet on the 7 races at Aintree tomorrow.

Each race you must bet at least £10

Points are awarded according to the SP of a winner, eg £10 on a 14/1 winner makes you £140.

Most money won is the winner, the winner gets a PM from Chrisobee containing a poem.

Ahem, since when did you get to say what I will do :smt102

Good idea though, I had something similar in mind. I'll post mine tomorow. these will be the same as I enter in the ATR tipping challenge ( maybe!) .

PS You have no chance as I think you know. However, if you did win then I'll send you a dozen poems !

Sorry fellas posted on other thread so just cut and pasted my selections across

OK my selections plus the fictional £100 bets

1.45

I would like to see Peddlers Cross win as he has had a great season, and was also one of my rare Cheltenham winners, but he is no value so I go for Duke of Lucca, Hobbs is a good trainer and if he settles (he didnt in his bumper run) he could well be an improving sort.

Selectionuke of Lucca (£10.00 win)

2.15

A really tricky contest with many unexposed improving types.. I always say go with a horse if it is unbeaten and Bergo fits the bill, he has won 6 out of 6 chases, the drying ground should help and as long as he can overcome any traffic problems (he has only contested in small fields) he could give a good account against some of the bigger stables.

Selction:Bergo(£10 win)

2.50

I like Quwetwo but all of his form has come on softer ground..there are question marks against all of these so I am going to go with an outsider. Henderson saddles Zaynar, but he also has Petit Robin, who has been chasing recently, back over hurdles (he has run twice over hurdles winning once at this distance) he could prove a good each way bet.

Selection: Petit Robin (£10.00 win)

3.25

I really fancy Wogan in this, he is unexposed and has improved with each run...my only concern is that stable jockey Barry Geraghty is on Au Courant, so I will be having a few quid on him as well at a bigger price.

Selections: Wogan (£20.00 win) Au Courant (£10.00 win)

4.15

Grand National...My Will...third last year, a few pounds better off this year (a lottery)

Selections: My Will (£10.00 win)

5.00

A horse that I follow regularly is running in this race..Issaquah, he has been poor this season until a change of tactics saw him make all at Market Rasen where he won easily, this I believe is how he needs to be ridden, he has ability and if makes all then he will have a good chance, if he is held up then tear up your slip straight away.(he finished second in this race last year)

Selection: Issaquah (£20.00 win)

5.35

Rupert Lamb...because I like the name

Selection: Rupert Lamb (£10.00 Win)

Good luck

Frankie

Yes I noticed Frankie's tips but you didn't specify only one horse per race! My selections for the 1st 5 races are on today's Aintree thread, as soon as I decide what to back in the last 2 I'll post. Cato is not going to be here today, Stevo is unusually not making a pest of himself as yet !
