EastleighSoulBoy Posted 7 May, 2010 Share Posted 7 May, 2010 It comes to something when the day after the election that promised so much for the Liberals all you've got cheer about is 12 local councillors losing their seats. I think it's more a case of people being happy that the Fascist dream/spin ls being seen through, in some places, at long last.
dune Posted 7 May, 2010 Share Posted 7 May, 2010 I think it's more a case of people being happy that the Fascist dream/spin ls being seen through, in some places, at long last. It does seem that the BNP are fading and much of that is to do with Nick Griffin being a liability. The far right is known for it's infighting and even before todays results the BNP was starting to rock with factions within the party not happy with Griffin. The result in barking and Dagenham will be the straw that breaks the camels back and for a while I can see the BNP retreating while a power struggle ensues. I don't know if you're in favour of PR or not, but the prospect of it will imo be the only thing that might see the party attempt to paper over the cracks more urgently because for minority parties like them this is what they dream of and with a more intelligent leader the BNP can and will bounce back, but unlike SRS i accept they'll never achieve decent numbers of votes. scotty Posted 7 May, 2010 Share Posted 7 May, 2010 I do, through my nazi contacts i was able get the full story for you all. They didn't want to tell me the truth, but i told them, yes i told them. I told them that ANS was planning to stand in mamchester as mep and piggy nick was gonna get battered in the polls, they shook with fear, they pleaded, and eventually i relented and they spoke. Apparently mr whippy had just been the road and the asian fella had all treated themselves to a screwball, un benownst to the bnp lads who also wanted snowbals. the upshot was that by the time the bnp lads had got to mr whippy all the snowballs had gone and they were not happy, but lucily mr whippy still has some bubble gum and gave them all a bit, which use and you won't believe this but it was magic bubble and the more they blew the bigger the bubble and the bigger the bubble grew the more it got bigger and then ther was a little gust of wind, not a lot, just the sort of gust you see the flatter a crisp packet a few yards and you'll never guess what happens, the bubbles and the bnp lads started to fly, and inch by inch the bubles got bigger and bigger and they didn't pop, up and up the bnp lads flew and disaster, mrs pickles had hung her washing accross the road and fat bnp man got caught on the line, but then it got even worse because at that precise moment mr whippy played the whippy song, when i say the whippy song what it really was was dambusters because MR whippy was abnp icecream man, and out of mrs pickes window flews mrs pickles budgie daphne. now daphne had never flown outside mrs pickles house because daphne was a blind budgie due an unfortunate incident with mr pickles collection hat pins, and out flew daphne straight into thew fat bnp mans bubble. you all know what's coming now don't, with the loudest pop down the fat bnp man staright on the asians youths and so the story unfolded. f*cking nutjob work dune, but quality work nonetheless. I'll have a few grams of whatever youre taking

IamLeGod Posted 8 May, 2010 Share Posted 8 May, 2010 BNP take note. Look at the honourable, dignified heroes commemorating VE day. These men fought to defend against Fascism. The millions that died would be turning in their graves to see you envoking the name of this nation as justification for the loathesome nonsense you have been spouting. On Thursday the country rejected your horrible, racist, nasty, ignorant, inciteful Fascist views. Get out of our country - it is YOU that are not welcome here. Jesus! It is however amazing how much the story of the BNP is akin to that of the Nazis: Started off as a nothing party, gained some popularity, had a few election victories (albeit greater ones than the BNP), got smashed in the 1931 election, money worries - The only difference is that the Nazis re-grouped and became the largest party in 1932 election, something which I hope will NEVER happen to the BNP. Huntingdon Posted 14 May, 2010 Share Posted 14 May, 2010 The BNP have added an interesting angle to the debate of immigration, and how it can have negative impacts on existing communities. Forget PC responses for a second, because this clearly does happen from time to time However, the more exposure they had, the more people started to realise who they were & what they stood for - this was ultimately their downfall

The reason the Nazis came to power is because Hitler was made Chancellor in 1933 because two high up government officials were arch enemies and they thought they could manipulate Hitler. He wasn't easily manipulated though, and this gave him the platform he needed to push on, get a Nazi majority, pass the Enabling Act etc which essentially got him the dictatorship and the Nazis in power. I somewhat doubt Nick Griffin will be given the role of Deputy PM anytime soon.

Are you suggesting we should have been nicer to the people who started WW1 and killed 20 million people? The treaty was so mean they were forced to come back and have another go at killing another 20 million. The LDs coalition has gone to your head Dune. I think you would have given the Kaiser community service and a retraining grant.

Yes I agree to some extent It is not always a good idea to humilate your enemy when you think he is down. I dont think our country had particularly nice policies up to the end of the Second World War

RedAndWhite91 Posted 15 May, 2010 Share Posted 15 May, 2010 (edited) The Treaty of Versailles is the real reason the NAZI's came to power. To abolish the terms of the ToV was one of Nazi's main policies. Hitler hated the ToV and it drove him on. It wasn't the ToV that placed him in the position of Chancellor though. That was severe misjudgement by Schleicher and Von Papen. If Hitler had never been made Chancellor, the Nazis would had never had that platform on which to progress. It was when he was made Chancellor he could pass the Enabling Act in 1933, which meant he could pass laws without the consent of the government. Laws such as the banning of all other political parties. After this there was no stopping him. Until the latter part of the War, of course. Goebbels wrote "The authority of the Führer has now been wholly established. Votes are no longer taken. The Führer decides. All this is going much faster than we had dared to hope." - Had Hitler not been made Chancellor, then this would not have been possible. Edited 15 May, 2010 by RedAndWhite91 Further knowledge.
