Penfold Posted 23 September, 2008 Posted 23 September, 2008 What has been your all time favourite driving experience? Mine was driving down to northern Italy for a friends birthday in my friends Evo. We were late and took it in turn driving down over night. Didnt care about the speed limit, and as soon as we got into Italy, we had a fantastic race with a Ferrari 360.
Colinjb Posted 23 September, 2008 Posted 23 September, 2008 Driving to Caernarfon through the welsh hill in my old Alfa 147. It was the middle of winter and was utterly clear. Stunning scenery, beatiful twisty and on the whole clear roads. Was a wonderful experience. And I had to drive it all over again on the way back!

Abroad, I'd have to say the coast road from Mojacar to Carboneras in Almeria Province in Spain. Fantastic hairpin bends up and down mountain roads with the Med beautiful and blue below you. I also like the drive from Bilbao through green Spain on the road to Pamplona or Zaragoza.

Siena This would also be my favourite, although not the driver as i was too young back then. The scenery & countryside through the Chianti district is stunning.
