TijuanaTim Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 So we had our carcass pretty well picked after entering admin - let's face it anything considered worthwhile by the outside World went. So how do you feel about picking other rotting corpses? Would you take anyone (else) from a very aptly termed Crippled Palace or our stinky neighbours down the road. Personally, I really think Darren Ambrose could be a real winner - at the skates only O'Hara, however If I was him I would be setting my sights a little higher (right now) as he is outstanding. Anyone else? Any thoughts?
Huntingdon Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Don't forget Tim, O'Hara belongs to Spurs & we have already swiped Fonte from Palace (very much against their wishes)
Arizona Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Ambrose is a good shout, but can't think of anyone at Pompey. They represent terrible value for money even if they are better than current players. Cortese is a sensible man and wont be splashing £50k a week on wages for Pompey players. We've already nabbed Fonte as well as Barnard from Southend. Haven't done too badly out of broke clubs. Anyone we can nick from Cardiff?
70's Mike Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 sorry tim, Palace have no players, imo, better than what we already have. and the skates have no one they actually own who we could afford the wages. Our big problem this season was virtually playing two sides, one in cup one in league due to cup tied players. At present i trust AP to pick players to improve squad for next season

Smirking_Saint Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Cardiff Ledley Chopra McCormack Whittingham Crystal Palace FC Speroni Clyne Danns Ambrose Also, if Charlton fail to make the CCC i think they may fall further in the poo, in which case i would nab Racon Shelvey Sam And whilst we are at it what about a cheeky bid for Sigurdsson at reading ??

Joensuu Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 To true..all pompers are priced out of the market FFS Agree that their first team have silly price tags, but their youth team could be raided. I'd like to see cheeky low bids offered for Pompey players such as: Gaël N'lundulu Liam O'Brien Lenny Sowah James Hurst Nadir Ciftci Nadir Ciftci
Andy_Porter Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Clyne would be a fantastic signing, just what we need at right back.

View From The Top Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Ambose and Danns are off to QPR or so the grapevine has it.
Wes Tender Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 Yup, the Ciftci twins - sign 'em up! They say it's impossible to tell them apart, as they're identical.
sperm_john Posted 31 March, 2010 Posted 31 March, 2010 i'm looking at going to Caracas Venezuela picking various fruits myself. Glad to see Saints fans are joining in with this important cause.
Gingeletiss Posted 1 April, 2010 Posted 1 April, 2010 They say it's impossible to tell them apart, as they're identical. Other than the fact that one is left footed, the other is right footed.
