So, you're saying one song above all. In other words, if you could have only one song, ever. OK, this song is the one which I can listen to at any time and appreciate it. Other songs may hit the heights, but this one is my nomination.

The Beach Boys - God Only Knows

welldone you are currently 3rd with this nommie, needless to say i'm 1 and 2.;)

Nina 99 Red Balloons. Still prefer the German version for some reason. Watched her with three mates play on Top of the Pops. We were all lusting after her until she went hey!! and thrust her arm up to reveal the hairiest pits we'd ever seen. True what they said about those foreign birds :0

My favourite song of all time is Dave Cousin's Blue Angel (original from 1976 - Two Weeks Last Summer).

As the song is approx 10mins long there is only a 3 min on YouTube of the 1st part ("Divided") and not (ii) Half Worlds Apart or (iii) At Rest.

Although the 76 version with Rick playing keyboards on (ii) is the famous version I currently like the 2003-4 version with Brian Willoughby playing guitar on (iii).
