Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I kind of feel as if this game has got lost in the 'JPT final haze', but regardless, I'm still expecting Saints to win comfortably...which means we'll struggle and either draw or win by the odd goal!!
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 lets hope there's a good crowd tonight to give the lads a bit of encouragement
the great escape Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 anyone know what the attendance is likely to be for tonight?? The £5 deal made any difference?
krissyboy31 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 anyone know what the attendance is likely to be for tonight?? The £5 deal made any difference? Made a difference to me! I wasn't planning to come down for this one but for a fiver, it would be rude not to.
Professor Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Its a massive game tonight and to keep the fading dream alive a win is Absolutely Vital ! For Brentford! COYBs
paris Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 There's £5:00 tickets on offer tonight check out today's OS.... How much are tickets 2nite? (adult)
krissyboy31 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 How much are tickets 2nite? (adult) Normal price for 1. Normal price + £5 for 2. So if there's 2 of you going, split the costs @ £14 each.
Tom Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Normal price for 1. Normal price + £5 for 2. So if there's 2 of you going, split the costs @ £14 each. Well bugger me with a fishfork, thats a bargain.
Isla Wight Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 anyone know what the attendance is likely to be for tonight?? The £5 deal made any difference? When I spoke to the ticket office pm yesterday I was told that there were 10,000 tickets left. I would guess therefore that the attendance tonight will be in the region of 23-24000

I would guess therefore that the attendance tonight will be in the region of 23-24000 Really doubt that 21K max, could be lower. We only got 20K on Saturday and MK Dons brought a few. Hartlepool will bring about 150

Window Cleaner Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Weren't we away on saturday and MK brought a few it was their stadium? Yep must have got confused with Swindon last Tuesday I guess, happens sometimes.

doddisalegend Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Yep must have got confused with Swindon last Tuesday I guess, happens sometimes. Well having been there I'm still trying to forget the Swindon match. The Mk Dons match left me with much nicer memories:p
OldNick Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 being realistic do we really feel that the players will give it all tonight. I know they are professional and all that but to miss sundays trip to Wembley will play on their minds. If Hartleppol get a few tasty tackles in early there will be a few who will go missing.
krissyboy31 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 being realistic do we really feel that the players will give it all tonight. I know they are professional and all that but to miss sundays trip to Wembley will play on their minds. If Hartleppol get a few tasty tackles in early there will be a few who will go missing. From AP's bit on the OS: The Londoner did, however make it clear that any players who drift during Tuesday towards Sunday's game risk their involvement at Wembley.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Fair play to the Hartlepool fans that come down tonight. I think they've got the lowest average attendance in the league at home, so I can't imagine their away support is at all massive. It was a long old journey up to their place and back, we took about 500 up there, so fair play to them.

But when up there looking in the away end i think we sold out.

We'll see, I think it is human nature to think about the Wembley game, Im sure most of us there tonight will be thinking ahead and not about Hartlepool

RedAndWhite91 Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Official site said we took over 600 up there. But when up there looking in the away end i think we sold out. Ah yeah, just had a look. Attendance 3,818, including 635 Saints fans. And we completely out-sung them didn't we The away end looked pretty full, yeah.

stevegrant Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I was expecting Morgan to be near the top of that list. Only 25/1, amazingly. Still longer odds than Oscar Gobern, though
Appy Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Only 25/1, amazingly. Still longer odds than Oscar Gobern, though Haha brilliant. I was expecting Oscar to be popping up with a goal sometime soon.
SNSUN Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 I was expecting Morgan to be near the top of that list. I was very tempted to put some money on Morgan to score at any time tonight, but Ladbrokes weren't offering that service at the time. :-( Bet he goes and scores now... Judging from Cheltenham, and the Swindon game, anything I bet on doesn't come true. So I've stuck a covering bet on the draw/Hartlepool win tonight. Easy win for Saints then...
Saint Fan CaM Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 But surely as fans we're remember the great day out. Don't we deserve it... But surely we've got the day out already? AP has already said that he will play his strongest team tonight - he will be expected to do this. However, with Puncheon not in the final and Antonio injured, there is a very good chance he might rest Lallana tonight I would think. Clearly, we will stand less of a chance of beating Carlisle without at least one of our 1st choice wide players (although Fish could start at LM I suppose?).
Hopkins Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Anybody got 3 season ticket numbers I can use to get some £5 tickets tonight. I'm already using my two. email me at mrmike2k@hotmail.com Ta.
SO16_Saint Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Just threw a couple of quid on saints to win 3-1 and got a paltry 9/1 :smt076
Window Cleaner Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Saints to win 3-0 Morgan to score first - 125/1 What are the odds on Morgan being the first to have a shot cleared off the line. I'd go for that one.
Matthew Le God Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Hartlepool look a damned good bet at 15/2 A team that hasn't won away for 12 games coming to St Mary's and you think 15/2 is inviting?
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Saints to win 1-0 I'd go for. If I had any money
RedWillie Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 one H'pool forum suggests no more that 100 H'pool fans tonight.... fair play to the H'pool guy flying over from Guernsey, but then this is more like a home game for him i suppose !!!
toofarnorth Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 A team that hasn't won away for 12 games coming to St Mary's and you think 15/2 is inviting? We know saints ability to f**k up better than the bookies though. Still think we'll win 2-0
CWD Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 im out at the bloody theatre tonight but i expect a 3-0 win when i return. cant believe i only got 9/1 on it though!
Liquidshokk Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Normal price for 1. Normal price + £5 for 2. So if there's 2 of you going, split the costs @ £14 each. Where do I get a refund?!! I paid full price for my second ticket!! :D:D:D:D
chocco boxo Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 3-2 Saints. But we do **** up the "so called easy ones"
keithd Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 is it on? been pishing down horrendous in Alton last 2 hours.....yes i know lucky the game isnt played in Alton then...etc etc Saints 2 Hartlepool 1. Dull, but efficient victory. Barnyard first scorer
THEVMAN Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Lallana definitely out of tonights game with groin strain,James also out and it looks like Antonio wont be fit for next sunday.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Lallana definitely out of tonights game with groin strain,James also out and it looks like Antonio wont be fit for next sunday. We do seem to be getting our fair share of injuries at the moment, about half the squad off and on.Too many games close together..
st alex Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8583130.stm Was an accident involving a cyclist near Northam Bridge today, so looks like there may be road closures.
THEVMAN Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 We do seem to be getting our fair share of injuries at the moment, about half the squad off and on.Too many games close together..Agree and certainly dont need anymore from tonights game, we`re starting to look abit thin on the ground for players when you look down the list.
bpsaint Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8583130.stm Was an accident involving a cyclist near Northam Bridge today, so looks like there may be road closures. Has anyone that travelled that way today know if Northam Bridge has been reopened yet?
Window Cleaner Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Team is up, as predicted by many. Same as Saturday except that Papa replaces Lallana. Could be a goal riot; on the other hand could be 0-0 James on the bench though, thought he was out.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Not a big crowd as yet including a staggering 27 from Hartlepool.
