In other words everyone wins though most probably everyone loses ;)

Seriously you would really need to wait at least until the Friday before deciding on a bet, what looks a good bet might not be so good if the team you select has a lot of injuries/suspensions !

But if we were to all work on one during the week, starting early in the week and looking at different aspects that may affect the result for either team, for example injuries, suspensions and form, then we can be more reliable with our predictions.

Not sure if you could include this type of bet in an acca, I imagine you can as long as the bookie prices it up but in the number of corners betting:

Portsmouth v Chelsea

Wed 24th March, 7.45pm

Both these teams match up well in the corners department...

*

73% of Portsmouth's games this season have gone Over 10.5

Corners - 22 out of 30

*

76% of Chelsea's games this season have gone Over 10.5 Corners

- 23 out of 30

*

80% (12/15) of Portsmouth's home games have gone Over 10.5

Corners

*

80% (12/15) of Chelsea's away games have gone Over 10.5

Corners

Portsmouth's home games are producing an average of 12.4 corners

while Chelsea away games are averaging 12.9 corners.

4 of Portsmouth's last 5 home games and 4 out of Chelsea's last 5

away games have gone Over 10.5 Corners.

Chelsea beat Portsmouth 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in December - the

game produced 13 corners.

So over 10.5 corners looks a reasonable bet.

Just trying out a piece of software ( football filter) which essentially tries to filter out the strongest bets for a given period. It's still in development so as yet cannot really be used beyond PL, CCC and SPL. However, based on it's "predictions" and taking into account injuries etc; a 5 fivefold for Tues/Wed would be :

Aston Villa

Man City

Notts Forest

WBA

Middlesborough

£10 returns about £120.

Unsurprisingly the strongest bet for midweek though outside of the 3 leagues stated is Saints to win tonight at +49 ! Anything above +20 is considered "strong" with Villa, Boro and Forest at +29. I'm not having a bet but will follow the results with interest !

SPURS Pompey

MILLWALL Stockport

ROCHDALE Grimsby

SHREWSBURY Darlington

Bolton MANCHESTER UNITED

CHELSEA Aston Villa

For this weekend. Thoughts?

On the filter which I mentioned at post 5 which correctly predicted 3/5 midweek, all in the CCC the stats it produces ( where anything + 20 or better is a strong bet:

Spurs + 35 ( no surprise!)

Millwall + 34

Rochdale + 30

Shrewsbury + 30

Man Utd + 3

Chelsea + 14

So not so hot on Man U's chances, I think it could be a very hard game especially if Rooney misses out. Villa will be hard to beat I suspect as well. Chelsea missing Carvalho now.

One for the stato's !

'Stats of the Week'

Chelsea v Aston Villa

Sat 27th March, 3pm

If you're betting on this game, consider these 'high' corner trends...

*

74% of Chelsea's games this season have gone Over 10.5 Corners

*

76% of Aston Villa's games this season have gone Over 10.5

Corners

*

11 of Chelsea's 15 home games have gone Over 10.5 Corners -

73%

*

11 of Aston Villa's 14 away games have gone Over 10.5 Corners

- 78%

Chelsea home games are producing an average of 11.5 corners per

game. Aston Villa away games are averaging 12.6 corners.

4 of Chelsea's last 5 home games have paid out on Over 10.5 Corners

bets. The last 5 Aston Villa away games have all paid out on Over

10.5 Corners bets.

Aston Villa beat Chelsea 2-1 at Villa Park earlier in the season -

the game produced a total of 15 corners.

The bookies haven't priced up all their markets for Saturday's game.

But check with Bet365 and Expekt for bets on this game going Over

10.5 Corners.

Picking draws in accumulators is always a bad idea.

I've gone for:

Arsenal v Wolves

Doncaster v Plymouth

Peterborough v Newcastle

Preston v Watford

Bournemouth v Bradford

Notts County v Bury

Rotherham v Port Vale

Also gone for separate singles of a Swindon win at Leeds, Man United to draw with Chelsea and Stevenage to draw with Luton.

Got a triple on for Wednesday:

Serbia WIN (vs Japan)

Man Utd DRAW (vs Bayern Munich)

Lyon WIN (vs Bordeaux)

Taken a tip from my mate, who only ever does 10p bets, but wins regularly. My stake is £0.33p and my returns equal about £15..not bad!

I Have a big bet currently running on Notts county to win league 1 and Man city to come top without the big 4 in the prem, if it comes in I will be £1600 better off. Looked a lost cause a few weeks back but County are flying since the randy swede left.

I have them in a lucky 15 from the start of the season with Rangers and Norwich which are as good as home and WBA who i think are just a bit too far behind now but 3 up could still be v nice! :)

Won today on a fourfold consisting of Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham and Notts County, only 10/1 odds but stuck a tenner on it.

Got a tenfold on tomorrow which is:

Stoke (vs Wolves)

Man Utd (vs Blackburn)

Liverpool (vs Fulham)

Man City (vs B'ham)

Lyon (vs Lille)

Marseille (vs Nice)

Hamburg (vs Bochum)

Nurnberg (vs Wolfsburg)

AC Milan (vs Catania)

Roma (vs Atalanta)

It's worth £96.10 from 50p, fingers crossed, some tricky ones in there
