Saint in Paradise Posted 21 March, 2010 Posted 21 March, 2010 The site instructions are in Japanese and English, but it is easier to just read the instructions below. 1. Touch 'start' 2. Wait for 3, 2, 1. 3. Memorize the number's position on the screen, and then click the circles in order from the smallest number to the biggest number. 4. At the end of game, the computer will tell you the age of your brain. http://flashfabrica.com/f_learning/brain/brain.html .

St Landrew Posted 21 March, 2010 Posted 21 March, 2010 There was a TV series on a few weeks back, which examined how old certain people's bodies and brains actually were. They had a 20 odd year old bloke, who was a binge drinker. He would have a can of beer for breakfast, and a few in the evening, but at the weekend he'd really go for it. His brain age was 85 or similar. He was encouraged to give up alcohol. Well, actually, he had been so scared by the findings, it was easy to drop the intake to bugger all. Within a few months his brain was registering the age of a mid 20's bloke. But he had to stay of the beer.
St Landrew Posted 21 March, 2010 Posted 21 March, 2010 34 and I'm 51. Nice. Could have done better if I'd immediately realised that '0' was low, rather than high.
Dog Posted 21 March, 2010 Posted 21 March, 2010 (edited) Great game there, I shall be definatly saving this one into my favourites. Scored 32, which is good considering I'm 72. Edited 21 March, 2010 by Dog

Hatch Posted 22 March, 2010 Posted 22 March, 2010 Not saying my score but it was half my actual age Snap. Got 20 , I'm 40. Not bad considering my brain has more alcohol than water in it.

TUS Posted 23 March, 2010 Posted 23 March, 2010 Hmm ... I see a trend. The game is wrong most of the time. Don't think I'll bother playing.

SNSUN Posted 24 March, 2010 Posted 24 March, 2010 32. I'm 30 this year, so my brain is fairly normal.
Saint in Paradise Posted 25 March, 2010 Author Posted 25 March, 2010 51....Am I going to die? Yes and quite soon I suspect
Gigersaint Posted 27 March, 2010 Posted 27 March, 2010 Got 40 and I'm, err... 40. It got me right. If I begin to lay off the beer I have hope that I may improve.
Hamilton Saint Posted 28 March, 2010 Posted 28 March, 2010 I did it three times; I got 28, 31 and 20. I'm 57.
St Landrew Posted 28 March, 2010 Posted 28 March, 2010 I did it three times; I got 28, 31 and 20. I'm 57. I think it's the sort of thing you can tune-in the brain to, hence your overall improvement. A sort of, focus and, exercise for the grey matter.
