They include: Contracts Jon Otsemober Graeme Murty Chris Perry Bartosz Bailkowski Wayne Thomas Olly Lancashire Kayne McLaggon Michael Poke Simon Gillett Anthony Pulis David Connolly Loans Papa Waigo Michail Antonio So, who should be Out, and who's In, in your opinion..?

Amesbury Saint Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Reading the Daily Echo earlier, and it talked about 13 players up for contract renewal or their loans are expiring. They include: Contracts Jon Otsemober - keep Graeme Murty - go Chris Perry - go Bartosz Bailkowski - keep Wayne Thomas - go Olly Lancashire - go Kayne McLaggon - go Michael Poke - go Simon Gillett - go Anthony Pulis - was he ever here? David Connolly - keep Loans Papa Waigo - go Michail Antonio - keep So, who should be Out, and who's In, in your opinion..? so most to go
brmbrm Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 I'd keep these (if cheap enough): Reading the Daily Echo earlier, and it talked about 13 players up for contract renewal or their loans are expiring. They include: Contracts Jon Otsemober Graeme Murty Chris Perry Bartosz Bailkowski Wayne Thomas Simon Gillett David Connolly Loans Papa Waigo Michail Antonio So, who should be Out, and who's In, in your opinion..? ...but then it ain't my money

Keep the players in bold, the rest can go. There are some good players in that list though, and if they were 4 or 5 years younger then i'd be offering Chris Perry and Graeme Murty new contracts, but we need long term solutions, not crocked defenders who are on the physio's bench more than the subs bench (in Murty's case anyway).
Steeleye Saint Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Keep the players in bold, the rest can go. Murty looked class when he was playing and can still do a job in this Div.
SuperMikey Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Murty looked class when he was playing and can still do a job in this Div. I agree, he looked like he could still do a job in the Championship, but he spent a long time injured before this season and he's also spent the majority of this season injured too. His legs have gone as well. Maybe keep him for another year on a pay-as-you-play, but ultimately I think his playing career is over.
Saint_clark Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Murty looked class when he was playing and can still do a job in this Div. His playing career is over. Sad but true. Will only make it sadder if he tries to cling on and get back to fitness, IMO.
georgeismyname Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Reading the Daily Echo earlier, and it talked about 13 players up for contract renewal or their loans are expiring. They include: Contracts Jon Otsemober - keep, Graeme Murty - let go - too injury prone Chris Perry - let go (just) Bartosz Bailkowski - keep, definitely Wayne Thomas - keep, but on reduced wages Olly Lancashire - let go - he's crap Kayne McLaggon - let go, not involved enough Michael Poke - let go - nowhere near the team Simon Gillett - let go - he's not getting in the team Anthony Pulis - let go for obvious reasons!! David Connolly - keep - he's pure class Loans Papa Waigo - keep (just), he's capable of some magic moments to go with the terrible ones Michail Antonio keep, likewise So, who should be Out, and who's In, in your opinion..? see above
saint_stevo Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 keep semi, bart, thomas and connolly. Ditch the rest, including the loanees, who are both fast headless chickens it seems
Saint_clark Posted 19 March, 2010 Posted 19 March, 2010 Contracts Jon Otsemober Bartosz Bailkowski Kayne McLaggon Michael Poke David Connolly Loans Papa Waigo Michail Antonio That's who I would keep. Rate Poke quite highly to be honest, try and offload Forecast to someone.
